Awesome but....

We stayed at The Eco Retreat in the camping area. It was great to be away from other guests and to have a decent space between.
The gorges were incredible!!
I have a few suggestions tho...the toilet/shower situations were not the best as in there isn't enough benches or BIG Hooks to hang your clothes/ towels on. Otherwise just the floor or toilet which really isn't appropriate.
We did Knox Gorge on our last day and honestly that was insane.
My husband and I believe this particular Gorge needs ladders or an actual path made to get down and up.
Out of all the gorges we did which was all of them, Knox gorge felt very unsafe and honestly we thought the rocks would slide down and fall on us.
Please fix Knox Gorge.
Otherwise absolutely enjoyed our stay. It was brilliant!!

We had a wonderful stay at the Retreat. The staff were excellent and always helpful and friendly. The resort is positioned in walking distance of one of the main attractions in the park. The restaurant is excellent and bookings are required for dinner.
The red dust from the surrounding park is a bit of a challenge but manageable. Limited power available in the accommodation as the Retreat is operated off solar but we experienced no issues. The park is filled with natural wonders and does require a reasonable fitness level to get to all attractions.
Was one of the highlights of our trip so far.

It is a wonderful please to visit!

My wife and I stayed at the Luxury tent. It was well appointed with a comfortable bed. The only downside was that the heater was noisy. The food was a lot better than anticipated and the kitchen took care of our dietary restrictions. The staff super friendly and always ready to help. The park is just amazing so the combination made it a very special trip.

Very friendly and helpful staff members.
Our cabin 53 had an air con, but the heating function was not working properly. The staff did try to fix the problem however the unit was still making lots of noise and hardly any warm air coming from it.
