Clean, luxury at a good price!
I recently spent 2 nights in a double room here at Van Lam Homestay. Staff were polite and helpful with good spoken English.
The bed was comfortable and room had good WiFi connectivity.
The bathroom was luxury with a big bath tub that I was even able to fit into, and a shower with good pressure and hot water!
There is a pool at the homestay, although it was unfortunately too cold to try it out.
Good location for an easy walk to the lake and a simple scooter or bike ride to main attractions like the Pagoda or local temples.
The only ‘problem’ was I rented a scooter from the homestay and had to return 5 minutes later with a flat tire. Very nicely, they organised another scooter to be delivered and I went down to the lake, parked up and then it wouldn’t start again... Having a local call the homestay, a 3rd scooter was delivered to me at the lake which worked wonders... Third Time Lucky!
The staff were very helpful with the unfortunate scooter incident, and even waited with out bags on checkout day until we were leaving around 19:30.
