Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay at the Premier Inn Barnsley Central. The hotel was comfortable, clean and welcoming, and the service was excellent.
A special mention must go to Julie, who was absolutely fabulous. She was professional, friendly and genuinely couldn’t do enough for us. Her warm and helpful manner made us feel so welcome and made our stay extra special. Julie is a real credit to the hotel, and we would happily stay here again. Highly recommended!

Hot room

Over all standard premier inn, room was hotter than the sun, the bed was clean and comfortable, furnishings abit tatty as was the carpet but clean, however the window didn't open, understandable as on a high floor, the result being on a warm evening the room was sweltering

Great hotel, amazing staff (James)

Nice room, clean and spacious and had everything we needed. James was the highlight - a genuinely lovely person who despite always being busy, always made time to chat with me and my little girl. An absolute credit to Premier Inn, please give the man a pay rise!

Age verification - REALLY?

My son and his girlfriend booked a room and stayed overnight. Both 17 year old and were not asked for age versification at time of checking in. This is despite the hotel policy for children under the age of 18 to be accompanied by an adult. It does make me wonder if they would challenge any child who checked in, as exploitation should be considered seriously these days. I can't comment on whether my son enjoyed his stay, but I will leave that up to your own imagination.
