Thieving and needs to be investigated

Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in and whoever is responsible for this place needs to be investigated got there expected it to be clean and prestigious obvious selling point the Marco Pierre white restaurant and Laurent Perrier champagne bar they charged me a £50 whatever fee at the front desk which was dirty and outdated normal hotels keep a card on file in case of damages the money left my bank and I didn’t get it back now it don’t even show up on my statements and when you try to call don’t even waste your time and energy that place needs come down blocking the skyline worst hotel ever I recommend the malmaison

Not good

Awful stayed previously and it was good nothing worked in the room it was dirty, damaged had to check out after a couple of hours and move to another hotel

Awful hotel with broken air conditioning

Appalling hotel. The air conditioning has been faulty for over a week but they have continued to run the hotel and did not bother warning guests of the problem. My room was stifling, far too hot. Fans were provided but they were noisy so sleep was impossible. I was offered a refund but I arrived too late in the evening to find anywhere else to stay. I now have a splitting headache.
Further to this the room had a dirty carpet and chipped furniture.
Dreadful experience, do not stay here.

Rubik Cube

On arrival at the hotel, the front door was out of use, then were informed that the air conditioning was out of order, not a great start, on a very warm day. Check in was quick and the room was spacious, clean with good views and a good central location to all areas on the City Centre. Reception arranged, on request, for a fan to be provided to help with the room temperature. Couldn’t get the WiFi to connect and at least half the TV channels had no signal.
On a more positive note, the breakfast and experience was superb in the restaurant on the top floor, well worth it.
However, would consider returning with some improvements.

Avoid !

When we arrived, only then were we informed that the AC wasn't working and asked if we still wanted to go ahead (we had driven over 4 hours and the concert we were watching was due to start in under an hour so we really didn't have a choice), it would have been nice if they could have contacted us a day or two prior to let us know so we could have chosen a different hotel. There were various stains all over the carpet in the room and the hallways and the shower had definitely not been cleaned properly.
The TV didn't work, but we didn't figure that out until about 11pm when we returned to our room so didn't bother calling down to front desk. There was also a party or event going on on the floor above us until the early hours of the morning, which we weren't informed about except in a small bit of writing on the bottom of the sheet we were given when we checked in - again would have been nice to know prior to checking in.
The rooms were extremely basic (although did have a fridge which was nice, especially considering the lack of AC) and looked very dated. The view was lovely as we were so high up.
We will definitely not consider staying here again and I advise that others avoid. More expensive than a premier inn and much worse.
