Family friendly

Not in the best area and does not look the best but the facilities were first class. Friendly owners. Cosy and clean room with refreshment tray. Lots of hot water. Great breakfast with as much as you can eat. Do not be put off by the area as you will miss a treat

This place is a must!! Most hospitable proprietor and team. Perfect for a traditional weekend in Blackpool

What a wonderful experience and all made possible by the most welcoming, accommodating and hospitable host and her staff. My wife and I decided to treat our precious family (all 12 of us) to a weekend away in good old Blackpool to see the lights, go on the fair and walk the beach. We arrived around 11am and just called in to the Blue Moon to let them know we were in the area. Straightaway Santo gave us a massive warm welcome and invited us to check in to our rooms. Bob, Santo's brother was on hand too and we were shown to our rooms. Each of the four rooms were absolutely spotless. The rooms all have different themes. Yvonne and I stayed in the 'Africa' room and it was lovely. After a busy day walking the legs off our little ones we retired to bed. Each and everyone of us enjoyed a comfortable nights sleep. The beds and pillows were just perfect for us. Breakfast in the morning was excellent. A lovely choice of cereals, cakes, crumpets, toast and fruit juices followed by a hearty full cooked breakfast. The dining room was busy as the the Blue Moon appeared fully booked this weekend, but nevertheless the service was spot on!!! The cooked breakfast was delicious. There was a lovely touch for the children in our group, a well stocked sweet jar with a variety treats was there for them to dip in to. We will certainly be back, and very soon too!! Thank you so very much to Santo, Bob and the team, sorry we did not get to meet Petra. I had spoken to Petra the day before to seek advice about parking area. Petra was very helpful and her advice proved reliable. We managed to park in the 24hr car park on nearby York Street, just 2 minutes walk from the Blue Moon. It gives me great pleasure to post this glowing review, I mean each and every word!! Well done to all at the Blue Moon. We will be back. Warm love from Lee, Yvonne and all our family.

Excellent value

As B&Bs go in Blackpool, I doubt you can get more for your money. Lovely owner, very friendly. Location is near central pier.
Room was very small, but spotless. Breakfast included for £35 each in mid July. Would stay again.

Outstanding value

Very clean, incredibly cheap when you consider the breakfast that you get. But for me the best thing is how comfy the beds are with great pillows and duvets. Owner is incredibly friendly and helpful. Spacious room. Will definitely be back
