Ideal place to stay when on holiday in Somerset

I was on holiday recently in Somerset and stayed at the Walton Park hotel. Thank you to the receptionist who was welcoming and kind. Apologies for forgetting the name of the receptionist. The accommodation was nice although extremely warm due to the heatwave. There was a fan in the room and the window could be left open which helped. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast in the hotel had a great choice and also catered to dietary requirements which I have, thank you to the chef. Many thanks to the kind receptionist and to the rest of the staff who could not have been more helpful, including the restaurant staff and the housekeeping staff. I would totally recommend the hotel if you are planning to visit this part of Somerset.

Last minute booking to visit Clevedon. The hotel itself is a short walk down hill to the pier.
The hotel itself was very worn and is in need of an update. The room was unbelievably warm, however the reception staff were able to provide us with a fan.
Disappointing for the high cost. Breakfast was average.

Fantastic position on cliff overlooking the Bristol Channel.
Beautiful old building and lovely big rooms.
Will definitely stay again if in the area.

Very good

Receptionist was rather terse when I had a concern about the suitability of our room, but she informed the manager who came immediately and arranged a different room for us. He was excellent.
Our stay was perfect, room clean and comfortable.

Strange noises

Disappointed, as we have stayed here before and no issues.
The room 418 was hot and due to constant hum in the room, we had barely any sleep. Tried to work out where the noise was coming from but couldn't identify it. Tried sleeping with windows open and closed but still noisy and hot.
Disappointed that I'd made a dietary request for breakfast which was not adhered to. We weren't even on the list for breakfast when we arrived at the dining room and after a sleepless night, I was too tired to mention it. Feel the breakfast was basic and not great quality ingredients
Hotel is in a lovely setting but feel its a bit tired and needs a bit of TLC
