Excellent location on picturesque sea front. Street parking. Friendly staff. Excellent restaurant / Bar. For fans of Hope Street this is the Commodore. Recommend.

Nice but could be better!!

Stayed in a 2 room guest room. Absolutely not suitable for anyone with mobility issues, rooms lovely but at the top of 4 flights of stairs with the bathroom at the top of the 1st flight so to go to the loo in the night is down 3 flights of stairs!! Stairs well lit but carpeted & bits of banister were wobbly so for us not the safest. I honestly think it could be so much smarter & well finished. We enjoyed our stay & the staff were lovely, breakfast was great but the rooms could be so much better than they are!!

Second stay at pier 36. Again staff were fantastic. Our room this time was slightly dated and could do with a refresh, view was lovely. Breakfast was great and lots of it, staff very helpful. We didn’t eat here but the Sunday carvery looked so good. We will be back.
