Highly recommended

Stayed several times as this is now by hi to hotel in Glasgow city. Great staff, especially reception snd breakfast crew. Best of all, quiet rooms in a busy city centre location.. easy 5 mins from central station 10 mins from queens. Quieter part of town. NCP parking next door good value - highly recommend

Visit to CG Glasgow

Visiting the Commonwealth Games stayed for 3 nights. Staff pleasant check in swift. Room clean very little wardrobe space so wouldn’t recommend a long stay. No evening restaurant so meals have to be eaten in bar area. Breakfast chaotic, very understaffed. No hand gel and staff collecting dirty dishes then delivering clean cutlery and plates and wiping tables with same cloth as well as wiping chairs. Coffee machines dreadful disgustingly dirty. Staff trying to clean empty trays along side serving hot breakfast from Kitchen. Waited for 45 mins this morning (Fri 31/07/26) for eggs Benedict only one delivered hence the second person not receiving breakfast and walking out with out eating. Cup changed twice on table as first cracked and leaked coffee all over table. ( not cleaned up so we did with see kettle) 2nd cup cracked and eventually got 3rd cup to then Find coffee machines out of order for cleaning. Leaving waiting staff having to clean and refill machines !!!! Poor service this morning. The chef obviously didn’t think to prioritise the 2 Nd breakfast and staff continued to deliver breakfast to other tables leaving us waiting !!!!

Expensive for an Average Hotel

We stayed 3 days/ 2 nights here. As a diamond elite member of IGH, I found our welcome lackluster and the overall customer service poor. The 3rd floor lobby and hallways smelled terrible, thankfully our room did not. Our room was nice with great amenities, however there were coffee stains on the door, a ripped pillow and we found a can of water on the floor when we arrived. The breakfast and service at breakfast were both poor. I would go out next time. A decent stay in a good location for getting around the city. If you don’t care about service or small details, this is a fine hotel. A little expensive for what they get in my opinion.

Given the price I paid for 1 night (~$450 w/breakfast) I was expecting a little more. We had 2 bath towels & 2 hand towels, no wash cloths. There was only 1 hook to hang a towel on the back of the door. The bathroom door, as well as the bed, squeaked. My husband had 3 bites of his scrambled eggs with shell. He stopped eating at that point. So…I probably would not stay here again.

The hotel and our room was nice but the staff need additional training. On the first night our food took 45 minutes to arrive. There were only 2 members of staff working which was not enough. When we were sitting in the bar another table ordered 3 bottles of beer. The member of staff spilled the tray and the beer spilled over one of the men. She did not wipe the table by the time we left 30 minutes later and the spilled beer was left to drip onto the carpet. We had an issue with the air conditioning in our room and were offered an “upgrade” to a smaller room on a higher floor. We were then given the option to move to another room on the same floor but at that point were told there was an issue with the water pump affecting a number of rooms air conditioning, including the room we were offered to move to! We decided to stay in the original room and requested a fan to help deal with the temperature issue. Not a great customer experience
