Highly Recommend - definitely visit again

Warmly greeted at the bar area, had already checked in online, so easy, keys given, breakfast time arranged for next day and dinner booked for later on that night. Shown up the stairs, room at the back overlooking fields, very nice. Room & bed comfortable, smart TV, kettle, coffee makers and provisions as well tea coffee milk and biscuits, nice touch. Hairdryer and toiletries in bathroom provided. Breakfast was great the next day and the dinner we had that night, sublime, chef accommodated our keto diet, delicious.

Very disappointed

On arrival no one there,waited at least 10 min before anyone acknowledged, front of house service was terrible spent more time on their phone and food was below average

Decent accommodation in a local pub

Stayed one night on a walk along Hadrians Wall. Room was fairly small, but had everything we needed for one night. En-suite was also great for our needs.
We arrived on a Tuesday, and the bar/restaurant was packed due to hosting a quiz night. The staff were all really busy, but they still managed to be friendly, helpful & cheerful. They even adapted the menu to our special requirements, which was a real bonus.
Breakfast was fairly basic, but adequate.

Comfortable but annoying little issues for us to enjoy the stay

Recommended by friend as The Sally is near Carlisle airport. Eden room good size and bed comfortable but many little issues were annoying. Towel rail in bathroom not working, asked twice to have it put on which it was but then cold again in the morning. Emergency exit green light extremely distracting above the door as was red light on TV and white light on Phone. Milk off in fridge and rubbish bin in bathroom lid broken. Dinner and breakfast underwhelming. Steep stair for anyone with mobility issues. The two young staff members we met seemed smily and welcoming.

Room was lovely! Stayed the night with my young son after diggerland 🚜 (only an hour away)
Staff were great, room was clean, food was fab, bed was super comfortable!
Easy to park, relaxing atmosphere, felt safe!
Would 100% recommend 👏 ⭐
