A well-located hotel

A well-located hotel: basic but clean, with friendly and efficient staff. It is very close to many attractions and parking areas. The rooms on the upper floors facing the city have a great view. Good value.

Unimpressive

Just checked in and oh my gosh. Frankly I've stayed on better Travelodges. It's really grim. Overlooking a construction site, curtain half hanging off and full of dirty stains and don't even get me started on the bathroom. I would rather be in a Prmier Inn. I wouls definitely not come back to this hotel and not sure about any other Leonardo hotels. Given the immense competition in the hospitality sector, I'll pass and definitely would not recommend this to anyone!

Bit of a hike from the car park. I suggest you drop off everything at the hotel before parking. I had to ask about the parking validation, as it was not mentioned, but easy. Room ok, looks out of date. NO USB ports in room. Could not charge phone.
Now bad bit. Woken at 2am by loud banging and noises, next room had no soundproofing to speak of. Lost a hours sleep. Breakfast ok. Half way through eating it, I went to get a drink and it was all cleared away in the 2 minutes I was away..
Useful point, it’s on the south side of Leeds and is fairly quick to get on the motorway. Probably stay again, but take some earplugs

Building works

We stayed at this hotel after attending a festival. 24 hour check in is good. We stayed on floor 1 right by the lift. Sadly the nights rest was poor due to firm tiny bed. Room service pizza poor and expensive (£22 for one pizza and it didn’t have sauce on it????) Rooms are very tired. We were then woken up at 7am by the cleaning staff, opening the incredibly squeaky door between the lifts and corridor and allowing it to slam shut every time which would also rattle our own door. And then building works started at 7:45am directly above us and all we could hear was drilling, shouting, banging and footsteps. We booked the room back in October and were never informed of building works otherwise we would not have stayed. We had no choice but to shower and immediately check out. Complained to the front desk about the noise and she said we should have phoned down at the time??! It was the time??? She said a manager would call us who has never phoned. Really poor stay, poor customer service and absolutely would not stay again. Building works are unavoidable at times but the poor way the complaint was handled and extortionately priced rubbish food inexcusable!

Good business hotel

Nice location and view from the room on the higher floors. Good business hotel, breakfast was also satisfying. The hotel has a snack bar also and vending machines. Room was comfortable, bathroom a bit dated.
