Really lovely wee cottage, compact but enough for a holiday for family of four. Everything you would need in the kitchen. A few minutes to the beautiful sand beach and 1 minute to a lovely pub. Great communication from owners.

Helena Cottage

Delightful cottage. Warm, comfortable and fully equipped. Peaceful location, great pub nearby, dog enjoyed plenty of walks on the beach. Would recommend. Brian the owner has thought of everything for guests and we particularly liked the fact there’s a dishwasher.

Looking for a place to live in Elie

We stayed in Helena cottage for three nights as we where looking at accomadation for our future home,spotlessly clean and in a nice quiet location..recommended,and on the 30 th of October we will be moving to Elie permanently ...love the place

Fantastic family friendly cottage , 50 yards from the beach

We spend a lot of family holidays up the west coast around the Oban area. With the in laws living on the east coast we were looking for a change a bit closer to them. I’ve been in the area a few times before for golf , and we narrowed the search to Elie as it has a huge beach , perfect for tiring out our toddler. After an extensive search we settled on Belcote due to it’s closeness to the beach, open plan living,secure garden and only 5 mins to The 19th Hole, and we,re glad we did . The house was great and like a tardis inside. It doesn’t have a sea view from downstairs, but this was more than made up for by the house itself . We also agreed that while there are some other houses that have gates straight onto the beach, this one was much safer for children. The biggest compliment we can pay it, is that we’re already looking at dates to book for next year .

Wifes 40th Birthday

I booked this cottage for my wife and the family for her 40th as right on the beach and the pictures looked great. We weren't disappointed the cottage is stunning with a mix of old and modern. Its 2 mins walk from the beach and great back garden for the kids. There was 10 of us including 4 kids. It has a wee TV room for the kids tlo where they can sit together and watch Dvds. The only thing i wish we had was better weather. Will definitely go again all the family, great to get us all together and would be good to have a walk on the beach in the sun.
