A nice place to stay with a few quirks
It doesn't open for check in until 5pm which was a little inconvenient.
My room was very pretty.
It looks out over the street to houses opposite so you have to draw the curtains or go in the bathroom to get changed.
My biggest problem was the non-existent Wi-Fi as I was on business.
Food in the restaurant was excellent. I slept very well.
The bathroom is problematic, the shower over the bath is mounted very low so I had to bend right down to wash my hair.
Breakfast was nice but pricey at £15 (you do have to order the night before).
I would consider it again, that chef is magic.

Very good stay & food
Chap who checked us in (and also worked behind the bar and served) was EXCELLENT.
Rooms comfy and no noise despite looking out over the road (it is a small village).
Food excellent – all courses.
Breakfast excellent as well (served by same good chap so he obviously works long hours).
Would recommend.

Fantastic food and outstanding service
We went twice during our visit because the food and service were so fantastic.
The Sunday roast was the best I can remember.
The team really go out of their way to make your meal special.
Really outstanding.
