Great "little" site with fantastic views
This is a lovely site just down from Bala Lake and directly opposite the Lake Railway so, an ideal spot.
Check in was very easy and once done we were free to choose our spot.
Great views to be had from around the site. A wonderful and refreshing river runs through it as well. Great for paddling!
An excellent dog off lead area is also available.
We didn't use the shop so can't comment.
Our only 2 gripes were that the showers are right by reception so a bit of a trek to get to them from almost everywhere on the site. Perhaps another shower block to go with the toilets, halfway down the site (along with another fridge).
Also, although we understand that noise considerations have to be taken in to account, we found it just a little strict as regards to turning off radios after 10pm. Surely they can still be on and turned down as not to disturb anyone around? But, this is only a minor inconvenience and wouldn't put us off coming again.
We found the owners to be really pleasant (especially as they were under some serious stress due to a large group) and we never had anything other than pleasantries with them.
We really enjoyed ourselves and had a great time (as did our pooch). We would be happy to return.

Great campsite with friendly , polite owners!
Will be booking again! Peaceful and quiet with a lovely stream, clean showers and toilets and a little shop for camping essentials such as shower gel, logs and kindling , fishing nets, camping cookers and little gas bottles. They hire camp fire pits for £3 - bargain and have onsite fridge - washing machine a tumble dryer and a washing areas for cups , pans and cutlery and drinking water source ! Fantastic

Campervan in Bwch
Lovely peaceful campsite, very friendly and helpful owners. The facilities were immaculate and really well thought out, providing spotless toilets, showers, family room, and washing up area, including freezers. Rates are very reasonable, especially if travelling solo, with huge pitches. The village is peaceful, with a pub, a regular bus service to Bala, as well as the lovely railway also to Bala.

Amazing campsite
This is my 4th visit to this site and it won't be my last, the site has excellent pitches, electric or not, a small park for the kids, a dog run for your furry friends, a b&b, clean toilet and shower blocks, a washer and drier in case things get mucky while out walking in the stunning surroundings, minuets away from lake Bala by car or you can catch the charming little train at the entrance of the camp, reception sells fire wood and you can hire a fire pit, the owners are lovely, no noisy camp club on site, just the moon, stars and mountains, there is a pub a short walk in the little village that serves food, so you really can't go wrong, and the price is fantastic, book now!

Amazing little gem
Its evident that some of the recent reviews have come from the same group, because having just got home from this campsite, like eveyone else on the reviews this place is perfect. The family are far from rude, extremely helpful and pleasant. All facilities are clean and upto a great standard. Yes you do have to keep the noise down after 10pm, but that's a reasonable request. You arent told to be quiet any time before then, and the only time we saw the owners is when we went to the reception shop or them cleaning the facilities.
Tbh I didnt even want to write a review, because I almost want this to be a great best kept secret.
Honestly if you want a lovely, chilled family friendly campsite, then this for you.
We can't wait to come back
