A fabulous night.

Mine host, Kieran was a total star. Welcoming, friendly and helpful. Food was amazing and the selection of local ales delicious ! So good we booked our second non work night there and then. Cannot recommend enough.

Tasty Food, But Disappointing Service and Atmosphere

The food at the Lochailort Inn was enjoyable and tasty, so unfortunately the overall experience was rather disappointing.
We were hoping for a quiet, relaxing meal after a day of activities, but the atmosphere and service made that difficult. One member of staff was particularly loud, which really affected the ambience. There were also a number of service issues during our meal: our drinks order was forgotten, we were brought someone else’s drink, and my partner’s plate was taken away while I was still eating my meal.
Individually, these things might have been minor, but together they made the experience feel rushed and uncomfortable. As a result, we decided not to stay beyond our main meal and didn’t get the relaxing evening we had hoped for.
The food itself was good, but if you’re looking for a peaceful, unhurried meal after a busy day, this unfortunately wasn’t the experience we had.
