Superb!!!

What a gem of a location! Will definitely come again!
We stayed here in August and the cottage was fantastic. Super clean, well stocked and incredibly comfortable. Linen white and crisp, towels thick and fluffy, and the beds really comfortable. The outside space and view is quiet and peaceful with trees all around you. It's super safe for children to play outside, whilst you sip a glass of something on the patio. There are excellent walks right from your doorstep, including the pond and black swans 25 steps away. The estate cafe is excellent! Best coffee I had all holiday! And the take away wood oven pizzas delicious.
Husband also raved over the golf course and the great conditions, saying it was cheap for the fee! We can't recommend this place highly enough. Great value for money!

Good location

My partner and I recently visited here for a night. The room was clean and the shower was fantastic. We had a lovely view which was an added bonus. Whilst the staff were pleasant enough it was not as well organised as I would have liked. There was no one to greet us at breakfast to let us know where to sit, when I asked at the reception I was told by a man that he didn’t have any idea. There was a golf tournament on so I think it was because of this. We sat ourselves at a table after hovering for ages in the hope that someone would come. Eventually a lady came and said someone was already sat there, though when I questioned this she said it didn’t matter and to carry on. Breakfast was lovely. The location was good and Petworth House is well worth a visit. I wouldn’t rush back as a little too informal on supporting people that are staying. It seems to focus more on the golfers.
