Very Kind Staff & Very Clean Accommodation

Lovely staff, very welcoming and always have a smile on their faces. Room was super clean and tidy, nice atmosphere.

Grim at best

Receptionist cut us short, mid booking in so she could leave
Booked a family room and was given a single room. Had to go and request a change. Was told we might have to pay extra? Had already paid for the room!!
Once we got in there the smell of drains were quite bad. Had to put the plug in the bath and sink thick dust on back of bed shelf. Corners of rooms unhoovered. Bathroom pretty grim. Fan full of dust and grime.
The whole staircase to the rooms smelt disgusting like someone had been sick.
Constant banging all night. Only one set of bath towels. Outside of building literally covered in old cobwebs and dirt. No pride whatsoever.

Outstanding staff member

Took my daughter and two grand daughters to Lowestoft to go to pleasurewood hills. Stayed at travel lodge as it is nice and close to pleasurewood hills.. when we arrived the system wouldn’t allow staff member to connect the key cards to rooms, staff member Estella, was very apologetic and although it was frustrating for her, trying to book us and others in she was totally professional. she was on her own but still made time to help me when my card wouldn’t let me in my room. She swapped my room, found me towels when there were non in new room and took time to ensure we had everything else we needed. Poor lady anything that could go wrong did.. non of it her fault and her only concern was that we were sorted. She continually apologised, but being a manager myself I could see non of the issues were down to her and sometimes things just happen.. I could see she was professional and bless her so kind and thoughtful.. Travel lodge you have a staff member to be very proud of.. maybe it was your training that taught her to manage the unforeseen without crumbling but I certainly hope she gets the credit she deserves.. thank you Estella, you made our stay…

Great customer service

I had a great stay at Travelodge, and Kourtney really made the experience stand out. She was welcoming, friendly, and always happy to help with any questions I had. Her professionalism and positive attitude made me feel valued as a guest, and nothing seemed like too much trouble. It’s staff members like Kourtney who make all the difference. Thank you for the excellent customer service—I look forward to staying here again!

Convenient location, clean and comfortable.

Had a great stay here, the staff were welcoming and very helpful, the rooms clean and comfortable. It was REALLY hot when we stayed, but both our rooms were pleasantly cool thanks to the fans, and staff leaving curtains closed when making the rooms up. I have stayed in the Premier Inn close by before, but this was quieter, cleaner and just generally nicer!
