close to perfection

We had a family party at the Crossways and from check in to check out was wonderful. The decor is of a really high standard from carpets and curtains to ornaments, everything was high quality and spotlessly clean.
We enjoyed a couple of drinks on the patio which enjoyed far reaching views of the Somerset levels including Glastonbury tor.
The food, drink and service was spot on throughout including a varied selection of pastries for breakfast and of course a delicious full English.
Our room was huge and so was the very comfy bed, I slept like a log.
A modern bathroom with rainfall shower woke me up gently.
I can't credit Derek and his staff more for looking after us and will definitely visit again when in the area.

The exterior of the building looks a bit run down, but other than that a really lovely hotel in a quiet rural location. The room was spacious, modern and clean. The restaurant served delicious food with very generous portions. Quiet outdoor seating area with lovely views. Would definitely recommend

Views, great service and food

The restaurant was fantastic with amazing views. It was very relaxed and spotlessly clean. We were greeted upon arrival and the service was attentive and very friendly throughout. It was a pleasure that Archie our server had some time to speak with us, what a credit to the business he is.
When the food arrived it was piping hot, fresh and plentiful, in fact too much for my partner. The prices as they are today were pretty reasonable, especially as this is also a hotel. Fully recommend this place

Everything perfect but we happened to stay at hottest days of the year and no AC , still that doesn’t happen very often.
