Spacious room with clean linen. Overall a bit tired but good atmosphere.
Did a decent packed breakfast as we left for an early ferry.
Excellent location for the quayside Wharf and historic dockyard.
I would stay there again.
Free on site parking a definite bonus.

Easy hotel across the ferry and the train station in a town where not much should be expected in terms of hotels. Average on all fronts but overall solid for what you pay.

Stayed for one night.
Air conditioning was not on at arrival room temperature at 29c. 7 hours after turning on air conditioning the temperature dropped 3degrees to 26c.
Shower had no pressure hose kinked and not functional. Bathtub dirty.

Never stay here.

So many things bad about this place 1) our room was not the room in the pictures nor anything like it. 2) a constant smell of fish through this building left us feeling gross, 3) our room was so hot and the air con clearly didn’t work. Nothing was coming out of it on the lowest setting and trying it on cool or fan. 4) shocked by all the good reviews for this place and feel like we were staying a totally different place than other reviewers. Do not stay here. 5) the front desk person said he was going to bring our luggage up and never did. My husband had to go down to ask for it and the guy was sitting on his phone.

Hotel guest service was excellent.
Room air conditioning did not work as well as it could.
Location is excellent to catch the bus or train.
Restaurant staff could have advised breakfast was included with hotel stay as the menu had prices on it.
