Very clean, everything me and my little lad needed. Comfy bed, room cool despite 33 degrees outside. Pool a nice extra to enjoy. Breakfast was nice. Location superb. Staff friendly and very helpful.

Staff are helpful, hotel does need a few improvements but has excellent facilities. Breakfast options are great. Steam room wasn't working and we forgot to inform staff. We like Novotel due to the onsite parking, pool and central location. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

Conflicting!
I had booked two rooms, one twin for my friend and I, and an accessible room for my friends daughter and her friend. The first accessible room had not been cleaned and they were given an alternative. The accessible bathroom was spacious, but the room was too small for two wheelchairs, and only charging points on one side of the bed. They were given a second alternative which was much better. Our room was a little like stepping into the 70s. Separate toilet, artexed and painted. The bedroom was artexed and quite bland. The reception, restaurant and bar were smart and stylish, so the rooms were lacking. The two young men tending the bar, Frazer and gonar (sorry, forgot the spelling) were friendly helpful and just lovely! Air con needs replacing, and the fans need help!!

Basic, I used some loyalty points towards the room rate, I would have been less happy if I had paid the standard room rate, the staff are lovely but the hotel is dingy and the decor is dated. Woodchip wallpaper paper in the toilet, frayed carpets, tired shower fitting etc. I slept ok but only because it was not too hot.
