Little Gem !

Little Gem . Found this by chance as needed to stay near friends in Blandford. Booked directly with Carol. She was amazing, so kind, helpful, accommodating, gave us recommendation of where to go for a lively meal ( The White Horse Inn ) which was superb. Wonderful cooked breakfast . Quaint building, just felt like home from home . Thank you Carol xx

Afternoon tea

we were gifted an afternoon tea here for Christmas. we called last week and booked in for Saturday afternoon. we were asked on booking if there were any allergies etc. we arrived earlier than our time but we were shown in to the beautiful dining area. another couple came shortly after. I had a pot of tea and my husband had a pot of coffee. sandwiches were brought out. no crusts, yay!! freshly made, very tasty. then we had the cake tray. I hadn't realised we had different cakes and was tucking in to the delicious coffee cake when my husband asked what his was. it was blueberry. he enjoyed it but loves coffee cake (she did actually ask of he wanted one and she would bring it) scones with no fruit, again, yay, with jam and cream. we were asked if we wanted more drinks. the owner came and sat with the 4 of us chatting. although it was a very hot day, it was very pleasant in the tearoom

A rare find

A place like this is very rare these days.Carol was very welcoming,friendly and accommodating. We had to cancel a previous booking due to bad weather and illness. Carol was very helpful in rescheduling and arranging food choices. A place with real charm. Delicious meal for my husbands 80th we both very much enjoyed the food and the environment.

Top quality B&B

Stayed two nights in this lovely old house. Very comfortable and warm downstairs bedroom by the front door. Plenty of off-road parking available. Well looked after by Carol. Her breakfasts were amazing with plenty of choice. Excellent value.

Lovely tea and cake

We were walking the trail at Shillingstone and decided to pop by the willows for a cup of tea. Unfortunately on arriving it was closed for an afternoon function in the tea rooms. The Willows daughter who was outside said that they could do tea and cake outside in the garden and are so glad we took them up on their offer.
We sat in the small garden and enjoyed a lovely pot of tea and raspberry sponge. Both were lovely and served on lovely china. Thank you both for being so accommodating it was much appreciated! Will definitely be back
