Lovely place
Book 1 night with my mum & our dog, lovely couple met us. Rob & Nicollet, amazing hosts, room and all facilities were clean and had everything you need with own bathroom. Dog friendly .
Breakfast was lovely, everything you need. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, I would recommend this retreat spot.
Rob, was kind to take us to local pub for a spot of local dinner, which was nice of him.
We had ground floor room with a little patio to sit outside. Thank you both, you were lovely hosts

5 stars in every way.
We stayed here while visiting my sister who lives nearby, and it was an absolute gem. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The cottage was spotless, beautifully presented, and so cosy and comfortable. Every room was spacious, thoughtfully furnished, and the beds were incredibly comfortable – we all slept so well.
The surrounding countryside is simply beautiful, with peaceful, picturesque views that make it the perfect place to relax and unwind. If you love the countryside, you’ll absolutely fall in love with this place. It’s quiet, charming, and full of character.
The hosts were wonderful and made everything so easy. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again and would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful countryside escape. Five stars in every way! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Amazing place!
We had such a lovely experience staying in the Stoke House. The hosts were so lovely and the property is settled in the most peaceful rural location, ideal retreat to have some rest after exploring the beautiful Devon. The testimony how lovely the place is that a lot of guests are coming back again and this is what we will be doing too. Our room was large and very convenient. I had such a lovely rest there! Thank you!

STAY HERE - YOU WON'T FIND BETTER FOR THE PRICE THEY CHARGE, OR FOR HIGHER PRICES FOR THAT MATTER!
My partner and are moving down to North Devon and have visited a couple of times to view properties. We found this wee gem after staying in a soul-less corporate well known chain the previous visit.
In comparison to our previous stay elsewhere, we found the hosts (Rob and Nikki)to be brilliant, friendly, chatty, informative from the moment we arrived to the moment we left - thank you both.
We also had our wee dog with us and unlike the corporate who charged us £20 extra for her these guys just saw her as part of the booking party.
The B&B is in a lovely location, out of Barnstaple and is down some narrow roads but being from the Lake District wasn't an issue, plenty of off road free parking too.
The room itself was very comfortable and being remote we both had a great nights sleep with no traffic noise, after sitting out in the garden watching the swallows flying around having a couple of beers.
Facilities in the room were great, again better than corporate in that I actually had 2 coffees because it was drinkable, in part down to Nikki providing fresh milk in a wee flask. They provided far more in the room too.
Plenty of hot water for morning showers and lovely walk through the village with Kayla (our dog) too.
Now to breakfast - ruddy awesome is all I can say. Not your cheap bulk buy produce but supplied by a local butcher and you could tell. Have to say this Rob, great produce is only great if it's cooked by a great cook!! Everything you wanted from fresh coffee, toast, cereal, juice, yoghurts, and that english breakfast.
As with most other reviews I can't fault both Rob & Nikki, their B&B, hospitality etc.
If you are down this way I’d definitely recommend ditching the corporates and heading out to see these guys with hesitation.

A real gem, so glad we found this B&B
We had an amazing Easter weekend at Stoke House B&B in Stoke Rivers. Robert and Nikki are just the perfect hosts, friendly, attentive, and warm. I’m not good at taking time away but Stoke House was a home from home with comfortable rooms, a large garden for our dogs to run around in and a lovely breakfast. Our dogs were even served sausages! The village is beautiful, and not too far from the beaches we visited. I can highly recommend staying here, we loved it so much and we’ll definitely be back again!
