Unreliable property

Property cancelled the booking an hour before check-in without reason. Four of us were stood at the door when the messages came through. Very poor service

Would certainly go out of our way in order to stay here again.

We looked for a Hotel in Talgarth as we were attending a wedding near by. The Tower was ideal, but would also be ideal for people needing a base visiting the lovely area all around Talgarth, including Hay on Wye, Brecon Beacons and of course the Black Mountains and Llangorse Lake. It provides bed and breakfast, but meals can be brought in to the hotel and some rooms have dining tables also guests are very welcome to use the breakfast room to eat their "takeaways". The owners Jan and Pip are very welcoming, accommodating and have a vast knowledge of the area and its attractions.

Excellent Hotel.

Lovely big bedroom and on-suite. Very comfortable bed, very friendly and helpful owners. Excellent breakfast. Good location. Would recommend.

Lovely hotel, super friendly staff, would recommend

I’ve just got home from a long weekend in Talgarth. I booked to stay in the tower hotel as I was visiting the area for a wedding (in whole house farm - less than 10 mins drive). Easy to find, plenty of parking. The hotel is old and beautiful with quirky features throughout. The room was large and had plenty of storage. Beautiful en-suite with powerful large shower. Very clean and well maintained. We met Jan the owner who was very friendly and helpful with making arrangements for taxis and other requests we had. Breakfast was including and was delicious - cooked breakfast option plus cereals, fruit, yogurts with tea/coffee and juice etc. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area. Thank you.
