I had a great stay and the staff and locals were very friendly. There was a bit of noise from the pub (while it was open) and from the main road outside, but I was so tired I slept fine anyway! The location is a little bit away from other amenities (e.g. restaurants), but the staff offered to help me order a takeaway if I needed it. Check-in and check-out were very straightforward, even though I arrived slightly after 8pm.

The hotels.com site states there is a reataurant at the location, there is but only open until 1500hrs, so that was a big issue as delivery was the next choice, pizza, indian etc not a great option and a minimium of £30 to get a delivery, a pain on your own. I then had an issue closing the room window as that neess maintenance, the tv controls were next, there were none and the great staff had to find a spare set.
The staff were great and the pub nice, accomodation was tired and not in walking sistance of any restaurànts so after a 200 mike motorbike ride I wont stay here again.

Nice cllean room. The staff and the regulars were so friendly and made us feel very welcome. Definitely would stay again
