Very pleasant vacation

We had a great time, the staff and owners were affable, kind, and helpful. Breakfast and food were excellent. We were on the fifth floor with a breathtaking view of the sea, very airy. Quadruple room even though there were two of us, very spacious, very clean, bed linen and towel change every three days.

We stayed with many friends occupying more than eight rooms, some smelled musty without having been aired out at all before check-in, and in all of them, none excluded, there was dust and hair on both the floors and the surfaces, sheets stained even with blood (with documented photos), and some faucets with rust from which yellowish water flowed intermittently. It is useless to describe the great inconvenience for our friends with small children.
Furthermore, in two cases, rooms were assigned that, once opened (completely on our own), were discovered to be already occupied.
To the complaint communicated at the reception, no sign of understanding or apologies was given, but rather indifference appeared.

Staff helpful but...

Ok I give 4 stars because the location is very convenient and Hosts / Staff from real nice and helpful. The hotel, however, deserves better maintenance to justify the quality/price equation. Intrusive cleaning since there are no "Do Not Disturb" signs. They broke into my room while I was sleeping! I found everything in Metaponto dated neglected and very expensive unfortunately.

Excellent service

On arrival we discovered that we did not have our passports and presumed that we had left them at the front desk of our last accommodation 300ks away!! The owner of this hotel, Pasquale was an absolute Gem . His excellent English enabled us to contact many people including the Local police who contacted the previous accomodation and had the passports sent to us so that we didnt have to do a return 600 k trip. We cannot thank him enough The rooms have effective air conditioning and good wifi ( essential for OS travellers) the hotel is situated across the road from a lovely sandy beach with sun lounges and umbrellas to which the guests have free access. We found the prices to be very reasonable in the high season .
