Good solution

I stayed in this hotel for one night, convenient location with parking and possibility to reach the center by bus. Comfortable and clean room, breakfast in line with the hotel category

Excellent treatment for a 2-star hotel.

We stayed in this hotel only for one night while passing through and, considering the price paid (about €55), we certainly cannot complain about the value for money. The facility is very clean and the ladies we met were truly kind, helpful, and welcoming. What left us puzzled is simply the 4-star classification. The facility and the rooms are rather dated, with essential furnishings and old-fashioned air conditioning. Breakfast is also very simple: a small buffet with cold cuts, yogurt, eggs, a few croissants, fruit, and a toaster, basically all self-service, with coffee kindly prepared by the staff. For a night while passing through and at the price paid, it is absolutely fine, especially for cleanliness and courtesy. Simply put, in our experience, the services, amenities, and facility are closer to what we would expect from a good 2-star hotel than a 4-star hotel.

Good hotel but very improveable from the point of view of the care of the rooms and services to the guest

Super breakfast thanks to Rosy!

I needed a room in a weekend in Bologna and the best value for money was the Hotel La Pioppa!
Clean rooms, really nice staff and helpful to our needs (dog, parking space...), and the honest cost.
A round of applause for breakfast in the morning: complete with a little 'everything for all tastes, but above all a special thanks to Mrs. Rosy who fully satisfied our start of the day with impeccable Service!! Thank you Rosy!!

A sweet night

We stayed for one night, to break our trip. Polite, precise Welcoming, excellent breakfast buffet, attentive to customers. On top, great! Room clean, quiet, spacious and very comfortable bed, attentive to our needs.
Of course, it is not a beauty farm, but really much appreciated. In particular Antonia and the two waitresses were able to empathize with us. Thanks and see you next time!
