Sweet and simple room in a farming village

The Agri Village in Pavia was a perfect stopover for our driving tour of Italy. The area was different and interesting. The staff were so helpful, kind and generous. The rooms were simple, clean and just what we needed for a good sleep. I loved the window outlook.

Surreal experience

Deposit of 70 euros paid as well as by - legitimate - request. In the 30 hours before my arrival I try to contact, over and over again, the structure, but the mobile, their only telephone number, for reasons unknown to me, constantly diverts the call. I send an email, specifying that it is my intention to arrive at the structure between 16 and 17 the next day and I ask for a polite response: the answer has never been received. What wise person would have set out on the road when the owners of the facility are, for all intents and purposes, unaccounted for? At 21:30 I receive a surreal email: they are waiting for me to check in! I point out the above and fall asleep annoyed. The next morning, here's the miracle: mobile phone reachable, quick response, no excuse, no chance of getting back what was paid in vain. All documentable, what is not done in the name of vil money.

Unprofessional

The property has been taken over by a family who apparently have little experience in the hotel industry. She runs the b&b very specifically as a family business: The breakfast room is also her office.
If something is missing at breakfast (milk!) is by no means provided for replacements, but you just shrug regretfully.
I had left my pajamas in the room and called right after I left to get them back. Submitting seemed too complicated for the owner, so I gave her an address in Pavia, 8 km away, to drop off there. This did not happen despite assurances.
When my contact finally called to get the pajamas themselves, they said he would no longer be there.
So incapable and also lying.
This can only be an accommodation for fitters or temporary workers without any entitlement.

Lovely place near Milan and Pavia

I have booked at this hotel some rooms for guests visiting my hometown (Pavia). I haven't slept at the the hotel but I have visited numerous times. Everybody seemed very happy with the accommodation. The setting is lovely and very close to Milan. There are some goats that you can fee with the grass nearby, I had lots of fun with my 5 years old niece. Mr Vincenzo (the owner) has been very helpful. I will cretainly recommend this place to whoever needs tranquility. The position is also very good to visit the beautiful Certosa, Pavia and Milan.

A good place where to stay

The Agri Village is placed in a strategic place close to the Certosa di Pavia, and to Pavia. The owners are very friendly and cooperative. The location is nice and there is space enough for cars. Rooms could be more comfortable (pillows should be changed). Anyway, I recommend to everyone this nice location.
