Staff were helpful and friendly, we used Google translate a lot. 10 minutes from Colico by Taxi (don't rely on the bus), where you can get the hydrofoil to other areas around Lake Como. Fantastic underground parking. The food in the restaurant was lovely and great service.

I review the bar

I can't review the hotel as I haven't stayed there, but its bar deserves a great review.
To begin with we found it open on August 15th and we took the opportunity for a snack along the way to Spluga. And what a snack! Definitely not the usual bar stuff, frozen and heated in the microwave. Here's a Mrs. Kitchen and a Mr. Service! Very kind staff, tidy and clean environment.
Great prices. Worth the stop!

Disappointing – not worth 4 stars, misleading presentation

This hotel has absolutely nothing to do with a boutique hotel. It is located directly on a busy road – no sign of peace. The air conditioner does not exude fresh but strongly perfumed, stale air, which makes sleeping uncomfortable.
In the so-called “restaurant” there is no menu and no prices – it is rather a simple snack area at the bar. The mattress was sagged, a coffee machine was not available in the room. A work table and a chair are missing – there is only a small side table. The Wi-Fi is very weak. The electronic key system worked only with difficulty (wobble contact).
The receptionist reacted dismissively and lacking insight to questions or criticisms. Overall, the Price quality ratio is totally inappropriate – the standard is more like a simple transit accommodation, but certainly not a 4-star hotel.
I can not recommend the hotel and would not book it again.
