Dirty and badly cared for
First of all this time they ask me for advance payment and I later understand why.
Room, a Junior Suite, unfortunately in very poor cleaning condition, dust and dirt under the bed and in various points of the room, probably the check to the cleaning staff is not done properly.
Heating system malfunctioning.
Unfortunately it has significantly worsened compared to my previous visit, not up to the 4 stars declared, it is not possible to deliver a room in those conditions.
On our next visit to the Tuscan capital we will definitely stay elsewhere.

Lost item with no help.
Our stay was pleasant until the final day, when an irreplaceable personal item that I have owned for approximately 25 years disappeared from our room after housekeeping service. This was not a valuable item that would normally be placed in a hotel safe, but it has enormous sentimental value and cannot be replaced.
What disappointed me most was not just the missing item, but how the situation was handled by hotel management and staff.
The evening the item was reported missing, I was told I would receive an update by 8:00 AM the next morning. No one contacted me. At 9:00 AM, I had to go to the front desk myself, where it became clear that housekeeping had not yet been contacted to investigate. After another hour with no update, I returned to the desk again and staff contacted housekeeping a second time. Roughly another hour later, I was told they could not find the item.
As we were checking out, I offered to leave my contact information in case the item was later located. Surprisingly, staff initially did not seem interested in taking my information because they believed the search was complete. Only after I insisted did they agree to take my details and mention that they would contact their laundry provider. In my opinion, checking with the laundry company should have been one of the first steps taken, not something brought up only after a guest was already leaving the property.
Losing a sentimental item is upsetting. Feeling that the investigation lacked urgency, communication, and thoroughness made the experience significantly worse.
If you are traveling with anything that has sentimental value, I would strongly recommend exercising extreme caution. Based on my experience, I left feeling that guest concerns regarding lost property were not handled with the level of attention, communication, or customer service I would expect from a hotel in this category.
