hotel was really good

pretty cool hotel, the room was nice the pepole were nice. the room was very cozy and functional. although a little small although i really didnt mind. i would recomend here for a quick trip to firence. it was fun for me and i think you should choosd this hotel for your trip to firence

The hotel does not even deserve more than €30 per night, while I had paid €120.

Very bad experience with the Borgo Hotel in Florence. A few moments before my arrival for my last night in Italy, the owner sent me a simple message saying that the hot water was defective, without a real apology, without assistance, and without even taking responsibility to properly cancel the reservation. Her only response was: "contact Booking."
Once I arrived, there was no one at the hotel, and I had to find a way to contact her myself. As a result, I was forced to find another hotel urgently and pay almost double the price, which completely ruined the end of my stay in Florence.
I also want to point out that the beautiful photos published on Booking and on the official website have absolutely nothing to do with reality. The images are very misleading. I will also publish my own photos so that people can see the actual condition of this establishment. The entrance is dirty, the building is very old, and the whole place gives an impression of abandonment and total lack of maintenance.
The establishment presents itself as a three-star hotel, but honestly, for me, it doesn't even deserve one star. Very disappointing and extremely unprofessional.

Excellent small hotel

Excellent small hotel in a great area. Just far enough out of the center to feel like a real neighborhood — plenty of wonderful restaurants on the block — while just a 15 min walk from the Duomo. Incredibly nice and helpful staff and a terrific continental breakfast. Would definitely stay there again.

Great Location

Our room was located around the block from the Dumo. It was also a few blocks from so many attractions in Florence. It was very convenient to come back to our room to change or grab an umbrella. There were many restaurants and shop on our street. The room had high ceilings and was very spacious for the 3 of us.

great little hotel really near all the culture

A lovely little hotel, very friendly, I only stayed 1 night and it was comfortable safe and quiet.
There are many expensive hotels jut down the road but if you want an economy hotel with some character really near all the scenes of Firenza I would recommend Hotel Borgo.
