Out of this world

I think the easiest way for me to review The Adler Ortisei is by breaking it down into sections as this will help to give you a better idea in more detail.
Before I do, I would say this: during our stay we spoke to a number of other guests, and none of us had anything negative to say about the hotel. For that reason, I would encourage anyone reading reviews that are highly critical or disparaging to approach them with a healthy degree of scepticism. Not one negative review written by other in the lead up to our visit concurs with our experience.
The Hotel
The Adler is a true oasis where you can completely switch off and leave everyday life behind. The peaceful atmosphere makes it incredibly easy to relax. Everything is immaculate, calm and beautifully maintained.
The staff deserve special mention. From the reception team, spa therapists and restaurant staff to the pool attendants and housekeeping team, everyone was warm, professional and genuinely welcoming.
The rooms are spacious, comfortable and beautifully presented. Although there is no air conditioning, we simply left the large balcony doors open overnight and found this perfectly comfortable. The pool and surrounding outdoor areas are pristine, and the landscaping is on another level altogether—absolutely stunning.
The Food
The food was exceptional and exceeded our expectations. I noticed one review mentioning a lack of variety, but that simply wasn't our experience.
The Adler clearly takes pride in supporting local producers and showcasing regional ingredients. While there are signature local produce available each evening, eg Spec, the menu offers plenty of choice, complemented by an extensive nightly salad buffet just to get going with!
Every course is thoughtfully prepared, creatively presented and full of flavour. If you prefer, you can skip courses if the meal feels too substantial and you can pick and choose from the vegetarian side of the menu to the one with fish and meat. Dining here is a major part of the overall Adler experience. If you're an especially picky eater, this may not be the hotel for you—but it's certainly not because of any lack of quality or choice.
Activities and Spa
One of the pleasant surprises was the huge range of complimentary activities available. The hotel advertises the daily guided walks and cycling tours, but there's so much more on offer. You can book activities such as yoga, sound bath sessions, stretching classes, facial rolling workshops and various fitness sessions, usually 24–48 hours in advance and those are a mere fraction of what’s on offer.
The spa is outstanding. We enjoyed reflexology, the Nourishing Ritual and a myofascial massage to name only a few that we experienced and all were excellent and carried out to an exceptionally high standard with the utmost professionalism.
The guided cycling tours and e-bikes are fantastic, but don't assume an e-bike makes every ride effortless! Some of the routes are still challenging, so it's well worth chatting with the guides beforehand to choose the ride that best suits your ability.
The Staff
Every member of staff we encountered was fantastic. I would ignore reviews criticising the restaurant staff. They work incredibly hard in what is clearly a busy environment, yet they remain friendly, attentive, helpful and cheerful throughout.
To Conclude.
The Adler is one of those rare places that genuinely allows you to unwind and recharge. Beautiful surroundings, exceptional food, first-class spa facilities and outstanding staff combine to create a very special experience. We would return without hesitation and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, high-quality escape.

Best massage ever

I had a massage at the hotel, and it was without a doubt the best massage I’ve ever had! I highly recommend Ariana — she was incredibly skilled, professional, and attentive. An absolutely wonderful experience!

Fabulous Hotel

Welcoming staff on our arrival and the room was spacious with a balcony and view over the beautiful garden. Excellent bathroom facilities too. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and food was fabulous. Great selection at breakfast and we had a lovely table in the conservatory dining area. The bar area, outside seating areas were great and pool was fabulous after a day’s walking. There were lots of children in the hotel ( it wasn’t school holidays??) and it would have been good if parents supervised them at mealtimes in the buffet areas!
Overall we couldn’t fault our stay in this lovely hotel in the beautiful village of Ortisei and wouldn’t hesitate to return!

Attraction now for foreigners!!!!

What to say.... After years of coming here with my children... this year has been a huge disappointment! Staff has changed for the worse... poor services and food is no longer of high quality like it used to be!

Amazing place with great breakfast, friendly staff, spacious room with nice mountain views, nice gym, great relaxing pool, complementary parking and great complementary fitness and outdoor classes. Alessandro was great and precise in his instructions for indoor and outdoor activities.
Special kudos to Alessandro (fitness) and also Louis and Dario whom were very attentive to the guest needs and super friendly / enjoyable.
The only improvements would be:
1. Install AC as it was a furnace even with a fan
2. Add cable tv with better channels
3. Add carpet in the room above as it was very noisy at times with kids running up and down their wood floor room (especially between 10 and 11.30 pm)
Other than that the place for awesome and would come back for sure.
