What a wonder!

The structure is wonderful and they are super accommodating. We were five friends for a weekend and we really enjoyed ourselves; strategic location and absolute kindness! Highly recommended!

Wonderful Mondello beach, excellent location, nice structure but needs improvement, service not adequate.

Excellent location. Everything else was very approximate and lacking.
Ground floor suite room. Well-equipped and well-maintained garden.
We begin on the first day upon arrival with a room that has a strong smell of dampness, and the reserved beach service, which was present on the website at the time of booking, has since been removed from the site and no longer exists. However, we are provided with towels and can stay on the public beach. This situation is not dependent on the will of the establishment, but the price of the room remains the same despite our request for a discount.
In the afternoon, I ask to use the air conditioning in the room, but the system, incredibly, had a malfunction the day before, and a technician would come the next day to fix it.
Wednesday, the second day, starts off very poorly.
At 8:30, a van unloads numerous air conditioners and begins the replacement work in all the rooms!!!!! I had understood that there was a malfunction in my room....
In the meantime, we have breakfast, which is very poor; most items are packaged products, with zero local products, and cold cuts that are all the same, typical of packaged goods. No descriptive labels for the products, surprise cakes... except for the tarts, which are served every day until they run out.
Only hard-boiled eggs, but if you ask, they will make you an omelet. Etc, etc, etc....
Upon returning from the beach around 2 PM, the room is still not made up, and the workers are still working on the air conditioners. In the meantime, however, we can use another room. At 3 PM they finish, and we return, but the work and noise continue until around 4:30 PM. The air conditioning is now working, but we are without water in the minibar.... someone forgot to restock the minibar.
I call Ms. Carla on my cell phone, who apologizes but does not provide me with any solution. I go outside and buy it.
The next day, Thursday, the same very poor breakfast; in the bathroom of the room, the hairdryer outlet no longer works, but fortunately, there is a maintenance person. Upon returning from the beach around 2 PM, the outlet still does not work. The room is still in disarray and is tidied up around 3 PM. I ask for water for the minibar, but the cleaning lady does not know where to find it... in the end, she manages to get it... it is unclear how.
On Friday morning, the last day, around 6, a loud noise wakes us up... a gentleman is transporting the basket with clean laundry to the courtyard near our room... breakfast is still very scarce, anyway.
At checkout, I pay for only 3 nights instead of 4, a very appreciated gesture that somewhat compensates for what happened.
I hope it was just a random coincidence of negativity. The potential is enormous, nonetheless. Use it.
End of stay... the sea of Mondello is wonderful.

Better price:quality:hospitality accommodations are available in the area: cannot recommend.

Pros:
clear self-check-in instructions; location; spacious room; nice sheets comfortable bed and a set of firm and soft pillows for each side of the bed which is very nice, very good coffee and yogurt. Lovely pieces of furniture presumably from the time the building was someone's home. The room and building were clean (apart from some overlooked items in the room) and one could see that great trouble is taken to care for the facility which however does suffer from structural issues resulting in odors, uncared for maintenance issues (see below.)
Cons (in order of experience):
moldy smell upon entry in the main hallway (sometimes typical of beach homes; the room was not smelly); could not get the a/c to function - only the heat setting worked; no screens on windows permitted mosquitos to enter room so it was either cool air and mosquitos or no air circulation; bathroom towel rack dirty (ick!) ; small wall damage in the bathroom very unsightly; loud noise of motorcycles into the wee hours; we did not appreciate the 8 am loud-ish radio music in the garden area which seemed like a wake-up call; stale cornetto at breakfast (very disappointing/unacceptable considering that Palermo is one of the world's food and pastry centers of excellence), sad breakfast offerings; unsightly asbestos-like roof covering over service area or adjacent property but visible from room. I suppose the prices for accommodations in Mondello have risen greatly or, the price:quality relationship here is out of balance. Will not be a returning guest and I would not recommend.

Terrible accomodation

This is a bed and breakfast with a very modest breakfast, the beach is not 20 meters away but 2 streets away, the pictures and description of the accommodation are misleading. Terrible noise all night and the old windows don't help. The room is a disaster, a strong stench from the sewage enters through the ventilation / ac, if the air conditioner is not turned on it is very hot, it is infested with mosquitoes and bugs. There is moisture in the room and in the toilet, a strong smell of moisture is felt at the entrance, especially in the evening. The furniture is old, the room is small, there is no insulation. The massage tub in the garden is very dirty, the water is not changed. Parking is paid for, free parking that is stated cannot be found. No value for money paid.

Perfect for a few days with children and grandchildren!

Great for families with children. Spacious rooms, some large rooms with room for 4 people. Enclosed small garden for breakfast, spa and relaxation. Very close to nice child friendly beach with free access to sun loungers. Very helpful staff.
