Stayed 4 nights…: very spacious room…this layout is obviously designed for families ss there’s a very small second bedroom and that essentially means there’s a share front door…so everyone your neighbours go in and out it sounds like someone is trying to open your door… not exactly a secure feeling. If was travelling for work (or solo) I would not feel safe at all…

Nice and clean room, so close to the shops and beach, perfect for a couple. Vida downstairs also gave us a discount for food and drinks can’t go wrong with that! Definitely will stay again

I always stay at Lowanna on the Sunshine Coast - it’s incredibly convenient to the beach and shopping, and the property is well serviced with comfortable rooms.

Bad experience - Poorly cleaned rooms (See photos

My husband and I recently stayed here and had the most horrible experience we've ever had staying anywhere. Rooms are supposedly professionally cleaned (is beyond a joke) We requested an early check-in for 12, when we arrived, we were told we had to wait for the room to be cleaned and we'll call you. We entered the room to checked-in. Room cleanliness was appalling, from mould on fans and corners of rooms, dirty balcony. rubbish left in bins to illegal substances under the cushions in the lounge (in a little sealed bag) with months of crumbs and lolly. We immediately call receptionist and put in a complaint, where we were moved to a so called comfortable unit. On arriving to next unit on the 7th floor. A cleaner inspected the unit briefly and left. After unpacking our belongings, and tried to relax. Myself decided to unwind and have a shower, where I discovered there was black hair throughout the bathroom floors, shower including on the shower handle. After cleaning the shower first before entering. Only to discover there was no shower gel in the dispenser. This nightmare was just getting worse. Stress levels were extremely high at this stage. Exit the shower. Called reception again. They returned to the unit to stock shower gel in the bathroom and it was at this time black hair was found on the bed linen. And showed receptionist and she just shrugged it off without having the linen changed saying cleaners have gone home now. Also a wrapper in the sliding door track, fire hazardous lint and black hair again in the dyer lint basket.
Next morning we went to see Manager about this whole appalling ordeal. We were told lady at reception was not the Manager but she'll pass any concerns on. After a few minutes reception walks in from last night and says I knew my manager could help you. Leaving us confused on who the real Manager was. They requested photos in an email, which we were happy to do. Emails and photo''s sent back and forth for days. No resolution or refund given. I would "not" recommend this motel to anyone. It was such stressful stay and an awful ordeal. Very poorly cleaned with alot of things been overlooked. I will include photos. **Still requesting a full refund.

The apartment was new and spacious. There is a large balcony and a table for dining or relaxing outdoors. The full kitchen was reasonably equipped.
