Good location

The overall experience staying at Ibis Perth at Murray Street was good except the hotel should further enhance its attractiveness to travelers. Pillows were too soft and low, making it hard to support average person's neck comfortably. Shower cubicle was a pain to enter, perhaps, just good for kids. Breakfast stayed the same and tasteless every day. I won't recommend travelers to include breakfast package unless it's just for one day.
Other aspects such as location, housekeeping, quietness and amenities were above average for the price. Checking in was a longer than usual process.

A good value hotel in the heart of Perth

I have stayed in this hotel before, so I chose it again for an overnight stopover en route from Christchurch to London via Perth (don't ask why, it's complicated). The hotel is in the heart of the Perth CBD on Murray Street, a short walk from the intersection with William Street. It is surrounded by bars and restaurants, and is in a great location.
The hotel is good value, with comfortable rooms and a reasonable bar and restaurant. I paid A$172 (about £90) for a Sunday night without breakfast. An Uber to/from the airport was about A$25 each way. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are staying in the CBD and you are looking for a reasonably priced hotel with good facilities.

Good location, lots of pubs restaurants etc nearby and close to free public transport clean room, good amenities ideal for a few days city break

The best fair priced hotels are the IBIS chain. You know what you get, nothing flash but clean and comfortable
