The room is tidy and have enough space to place the luggages and personal belongings. The staff is friendly and have free rental of umbrella during the rainy days.

Sarasa Hotel Shinsaibashi was a great hotel for my trip. I arrived before my check-in and was able to leave my bags with the front desk as I explored the city before check-in. Room was clean and had everything I needed. Location is excellent in terms of being close to subway, Dotonbori, etc. Hotel also had washer/dryer which came in handy!

Do not hesitate to pay extra if you want a minimum of space.

Tiny room, outdated and damaged furniture, and the bathtub so small that you have to bend in half to get in. The worst hotel of our two-week trip to Japan. What a shame.

The ideal hotel for me

We had a very reasonable and comfortable time. It was much cheaper than internet cafes and dormitories.
The front desk staff were all kind, the rooms were cosy and clean, and the free coffee was nice. Access is great, convenience stores are next door, and there are two subway tracks that make going anywhere easy.
We had two separate bookings for consecutive nights, but they were very flexible and we were able to share both nights in the same room. Checking out was easy even in the early morning, as all we had to do was return it to the front desk box.
There are washing machines, rental bicycles, a comic book area and a beer server, although I haven't used them this time.
The room is floored, not carpeted, so it is neat, but if you drop an object that has moved a chair in a room on the top, bottom, left, or right, the sound resonates directly. I also woke up late at night to the sound of doors opening and closing on the same floor.
That said, I think it's the best hotel for people who are drowsy during the day and come home tired at night and just need a place to sleep, and don't need excessive service.
It was an undisputed ideal hotel for me, so I will repeat it if I get a chance. Thank you for your time.

It is close to shops the subway and younare walking distance from most of the intresting things you would want to do
