This hotel was great. The room was spacious comfortable bed it had everything, blow dryer, ironing board, and hangers if needed. Breakfast buffet was great staff was excellent. My favorite was the pool !!!! This will be where me and my husband stay when we’re in Mexicali every time from now on.

The breakfast buffet is one of the better ones I have enjoyed for years. Small but everything you need and a chef to make your omelette and/or quesadillas. The waiters and restaurant staff are wonderful. As for the hotel it is lacking. This time the room had an odor, the keys were deactivated after the first night and we had issues with opening our room several times. One desk clerk was rude and full of herself and the rest were very friendly. Unfortunately that may be my last stay at the Calafia. I will be back to visit the restaurant.

There was a guest with a dog barking the entire night and an ill functioning sink that would spray everywhere each time we turned it on. It got our clothing entirely soaked and the entire floor. Would not stay here again.

The rooms were clean, the air conditioning worked well. Breakfast was delicious and the staff was helpful and very nice.

Safe hotel to stay at. Staff were super helpful. Our air conditioner was on so we didn’t walk into a hot room. High recommend.
