I stayed at Lemigo three different times on my trip to Rwanda. All rooms were clean and spacious and staff was very accommodating.

The hotel is very shabby and my room 213 in a dreadful condition. Cracked floor tiles, fluorescent wall mounted lights.

No bedside reading lamp. Bathroom shabby, sink cracked, tap wobbly, shower door jammed, hot water erratic. Room had no comfortable armchair. Only sockets at floor level under desk, one socket hanging out of the wall, main light switch faulty. Bed stuffed into an alcove. Curtains partly disconnected from curtain rail. Net curtains cover only half the window area. Cheap, ill fitted aluminium single glazed windows with small steaks of black glue on the outside. Dark, brown, dank corridors, with inadequate lighting. Gym has faulty elliptical machines, water not available there. This is one of the worst hotels I have stayed in in a lifetime of professional international travel. Staff friendly and helpful. Restaurant food (Indian, Chinese and western actually good, but breakfast unappealing. At GBP150 per night it is nowhere near the quality of a similarly priced hotel in London UK. Very disappointed.

Basic, affordable and fine overall

We were looking for a hoyrl that was within walking distance from the offices that we needed to visit but wouldn't break our budget. This hotel fit those requirements.
The rooms are huge and comfortable, although there wasn't much of a view to speak of. My room was facing a construction site of a soon-to-rise shopping mall rather than the hills of Kigali, although I did have a balcony.
The room seemed to have been built for a much taller person, and so hanging clothes and reaching out for towels in the bathroom were a bit of a challenge.
Cleaning of the bathroom was not great (there was a dead bee that took housecleaning a few days to remove) but the place was not filthy.
The variety of breakfast food was amazing, and everything we ate for other meals tasted very good. However, you have to prepare to wait for at least an hour for your food, as they seem to cook everything from scratch. Don't eat at the restaurant if you're in a hurry!
Service was friendly and efficient.
I'd probably pick a slightly more upscale hotel for my next visit, but if you want a reasonably priced hotel, then you should consider this place.

Horrible service

Reception didn't pick my calls and staff in the cafeteria refused to help me find black tea bags, which I later found were placed on a shelf that was too high for me. She was also extremely rude and argumentative. The socket in the room didn't work with my travel adapter. Plug on iron in my room and the socket in the room didn't match.

Not worth the money at all

Food is awful, facilities are awful, rooms are dirty (I.e stained carpets and walls, wallpaper peeling and cracks in ceiling). Staff took over 45minutes to deliver toilet roll to the room given the fact there was initially barely any in the room, just a generally disappointing experience given the price.
Do not waste your money going to this hotel, for a better price there are much nicer places to stay in Kigali.
