Beautiful hotel with sea and pool view

Whether in Paris or Dakar we find the same good quality and standard of Ibis Style.
This one allows access to the beautiful swimming pool of the Novotel located next door.
And also access to the terrace restaurant... including a nice “express menu” at a reasonable price

Going choice in a chaotic city

Awesome location. Close to the center or heart of Dakar and easy access to the ferry terminal to Goree Island.

Ibis Styles Dakar

Located 45 minutes from daksr airport. Basic hotel. No restaurant. You take meals next door at Novotel. Hotel rooms are a bit dark but nice view of Atlsntic Ocean.

The staff have not been trained very well, and that is a failing of management. I encountered a number of issues, like the door lock of my room not working and not being able to get into my room for an extended period of time, and the reaction of many members was that this was not their job. One lady literally told me that she was in "Customer Relations" so fixing my problem was not her job... Otherwise the hotel is nice. The food is very expensive and not very good. I think I would stay here again if I needed to be in the area, but next time I will probably choose to stay somewhere else... Beds were comfy, room was quiet, shower was hot, so it definitely met my basic needs, I do wish that staff were more proactive and better trained!
