Great location, needs cleaned
Great location for Cedar Point and friendly staff but not the cleanest of hotels. The rooms are fine, very basic. The public areas are all dirty, could use a serious deep clean and power wash. The boardwalk is pretty but again needs to be cleaned/power washed. Not enough staff to maintain this hotel. It serves the purpose for cedar point.
The gym as a joke, if you want to worn out count the gym out. And it was absolutely filthy.

No way to contact the front desk
Great location and decent hotel (you’re paying extra for the location). We might be back.
One major issue is no one knew how to contact the front desk or the hotel for issues. We got a card with a contact number that did not work (kept saying the number is not in service). 0 didn’t work. The number on the room phone didn’t work. I had to walk to the front desk and wait in line for 25 minutes (even though there were just 3 people in front of me).
But it is a fantastic location.

Not as efficient as expected
If you’re looking for efficiency and saving money while visiting Cedar point hotel breakers is middle of a row. Yes it’s very close to the point andyou can block my hotel but I find it just as efficient to stay just a few minutes away and make the drive because you’re more than spend a bunch of money in the park anyway it’s not as easy as what you think when it comes to going back-and-forth from the hotelback to the park unless you plan on spending multiple days at the park. If you’re just planning on doing one day at Cedar point staying at hotels is not worth the money. The services are very slow and extremely pricey.

It is very rundown, elevator didn’t work, the TGI Fridays was the worst meal I had for $100. The hotel itself was very expensive and crowded and understaffed.

Third time was NOT a charm!
Arrived 11:30/11:40…checked in and told our room wouldn’t be ready until 12. (We purchased early check in)
A little before 12 get text our room is ready and get info and room keys for 10242 (the suite that we booked). We came up to the room and keys did not work.
Came back down stairs to say our keys didn’t work and was told, we didn’t have that room number but another 10243.
We came up to this room and it was standard queen. So we came back downstairs and talked for 45 minutes about how we booked a suite in February and are now being given a standard room.
We were told there are no suites available and that there are no conjoined rooms to give more space but because a mistake was made with “room numbers” we would get 20% off tonight.
We still don’t have a suite and we paid suite prices. We are disappointed in the room we didn’t book, but are making it work. We should not have to pay suite prices (which we have since we booked in February) when we have a standard room.
Other issues for the room, the tub did not drain. We requested three times to have someone fix it and they did not fix it at all.
The place can really use a deep cleaning. It was a bit filthy on the floors.
The only redeeming factor was the food and the drinks which even still was grossly limited.
The other gripe is their tickets are printed receipts, and there was no easy way to get ride and refresh bracelets for the park. Oh and speaking of bracelets, now you are required to get a different colored bracelet everyday just to use the pool area...so another errand to do during vacation just to get into the pool.
The fitness area was broken and outdated.
This trip was disappointing; we have always used this hotel for the service, and now after this visit we are most likely to reconsider choosing this hotel again.
