Very disappointing and dirty.

Unbelievably dirty hotel. Looks okay when you arrive and the price is very reasonable, but the room was extremely dirty. We arrived at this hotel late, so we didn't really see how dirty the room was. The next morning, we found the bed covered in urine stains and the curtains covered in white stains. There was even blood on the window frame. It's better to pay a few euros more and not get sick. So stay away. The hotel offered us a free breakfast, but since the room was so dirty, we didn't really dare to eat it. Besides, that doesn't really solve the hygiene problem.

Great for a short break

Quite basic rooms. Stayed in the suite and there wasn’t even a fridge. Air con not brilliant either, but it was 36 degrees outside! Breakfast was excellent, so much choice and constantly being topped up. Safa was lovely, helpful when arranging to fix our aircon and extremely lovely and polite whenever we saw her. Location was perfect, 10 mins to train station, 10 minutes to river promenade and city. Dusseldorf if fantastic for a short break.

Air conditioning

Heatwaves: The air-conditioning is failing in the lobby. Idlib Room air-conditioning is fine with individual controls. ScienceDaily Room was quiet, facing the courtyard. No fridge, but it was cool, everything was fine. Breakfast was good, but the room was hot because of an air-conditioning failure, so he said he'd go back to his room early. There were concerns about Ost Street South, but inside the hotel was a system where people couldn't get into the elevator without keys. UPDATE: Japanese at reception had to bring their own tabletop fans from home to see how well it worked.

Supreme AUSTERITY

Hotel absolutely sterile:
> Right room size, but ZERO comfort. I hate those hotels where there's no small refrigerator to store personal belongings. Even more surprising is the fact that there is no coffee maker in the room. Today, even basic hotels have it. Many shortcomings in the room: broken bathroom lid, dirty towel, strange smell, tiny closet, TV not working, etc.
> Location: correct but not close to the old city
> Breakfast: served in a dining room more like a military canteen than a hotel. I had to wait 6 minutes because they opened later than the indicated time.
> Hotel entrance door jammed. Several customers had to wait a few minutes until someone from reception came out to open us.
> Check in: you have to do it yourself on a machine. Totally impersonal
