⭐️ Solid stay with first-class service
After a two-hour flight delay, the Metro Hotel was just the uncomplicated anchorage I needed. Here's my conclusion:
Transfer & reception
The pick-up at the airport went absolutely smoothly. The driver was extremely friendly and after a short drive we were already at the hotel. Check-in was also a highlight: super fast, warm and efficient – exactly what you want after a long trip.
️ The room
For one night the room was absolutely functional and good. I noticed particularly positively the well-kept, almost new-looking shower and the clean, very comfortable bed. The only small downer: My room was close to the elevator, which is why it got a bit restless from 7:00 in the morning. If you have a light sleep, you might want to ask for a room at the end of the hall.
️ Restaurant & cuisine
The hotel restaurant is really nicely designed and offers great service. I have decided on the classic: Fish and chips – very delicious! The only drawback for connoisseurs: The whisky portions were a bit tight for my taste in relation to the price.
Return transfer to the airport
The next day, the transfer back to the airport worked out just as perfectly as the pickup. I was particularly impressed by the driver's attention: After I mentioned that my carry-on luggage has fragile contents, he immediately stowed it extra safely. Just great!
Conclusion: I got exactly what I expected – and was even positively surprised by the service. A clear recommendation for a stopover!

Perfect hotel for the Airport great free shuttle .Reception super helpful.Restaurant clean comfy food usual menu but served hot plentiful and tasty.Would stay again a great find for travelling.

Friendly receptionist. Not so for the waiter in the restaurant. I asked politely to have a look at the menu first and his reply was unfriendly; told me I could have looked at the menu in the room or in the elevator. I was shocked of his response! Maybe he was having a bad day, but that was not a proper way to treat a guest.

Shuttle was great, no information given on check in. I didn't know how to work anything. I had to go to the desk 3 times for information. The room was spacious, but I didn't like beingon yhe ground floor by the main road. The restaurant was way overpriced, 20 Euros for a bowl of soup that was supposedtobe stew. They served me the crusts of a loaf of gluten free bread. The server felt so guilty, she too it off the bill. Check out was easy and shuttle on time. Don't plan for breakfast if you have an early flight. It starts at 7 a.m. for the price of165 euros, I won't stay there again.
