Excellent location for business training
Great host and location. Excellent breakfast and lunch during our business training at Maison Dispa. A spacious training room and room to work calmly if you had to step away briefly from the training.

Great food & great wine
Family run restaurant the main part of the restaurant is a beautiful old house with the original tiled floor, stain glass windows and fireplace.
Alongside the old part is a lite & airy modern extension which blends nicely with the main room.
Service was attentive and staff very knowledgable and explained each course.
Would definitely return when next in the area

Fabulous hospitality and dinner
The unique art nouveau interior set the tone for this classy experience. Delicious local flavoursome menu (mixed canapés and cava followed by smoked trout salad and Guinea fowl) with well matched wine served by our charming host.
Highly recommended.

A great experience!
We stayed at the Hostellerie Dispa for two days at the send of September 2013. We loved every bit of it.Located in a remote village, the house, once owned by a notary ( a real "bourgeois house"), has been turned into a small hotel ( ten bedrooms) with a restaurant with fabulous food (Gault and Millau award!). The bedrooms are very spacious, with high ceiling, modern bathrooms, queen beds with immaculate beddings, exactyl as shown on the hotel's web site. The owners and their staff are very warm, at the same time very polite and discreet. Rate very reasonable, considering the quality of the service and the exceptional surroundings and atmosphere.

A for Effort, C for Execution
We chose Walcourt and Hostellerie Dispa as our home-base for a weekend in the Ardennes. The hotel itself if a nice combination of bar, wonderful restaurant, and B&B. The building is beautiful and the rooms are nice and spacious. Communicating with the owners/employees was a bit awkward since they spoke nothing more than French (not even Dutch) and my husband's French is a bit rusty. Still, the owner and everyone who we encountered was very very kind (so much so I wish I could give a better review).
Plus-points:
- Dinner at the restaurant was great (despite some initial food allergy confusion)
- Rooms are beautiful
- Plenty of parking
Negatives:
- Breakfast was very very disappointing (this coming from someone who doesn't eat much in the morning) and extremely expensive (€12...worth €5 max if you include the coffee).
- Two restless nights due to shouting and chaos erupting from the bar downstairs around 2 or 3AM each night. We could make out the voices clearly and there was no way to shut them out. All in all, we had to catch up on rest after returning home.
