Enjoyable stay
Really enjoyed our week at this hotel. A friendly welcome on arrival. We had room 204 on second floor - a standard room with a side sea view. Room was clean and bed comfy. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice and nice to sit on terrace with the beautiful view. Fellow guests very friendly and nice to chat here and there. Pool area good although sun beds would be better if they were more cushioned. Staff work hard - thanks Zelenograd, Angela and Dimitri! Fiskardo itself is stunnning and we enjoyed our walks down to the port and got the hotel shuttle bus back some evenings.. we enjoyed Theodora’s cocktail bar .. and cocktails in the hotel in the evening .. best negronis ever ! I can see why so many guests return year after year.. thanks

A beautiful holiday
I was at this property at the end of July and had a great time. I think it's a three star but it's worth at least four. Top location, not far from the center, also within walking distance, but still shuttle available sempre.Vista sul mare , clean rooms, large bathroom , terrace, quiet air conditioning. Breakfast in the norm, nothing exceptional but nothing was missing. The owner very kind and generous with useful information. We would definitely stay again.

The Almyra Hotel, Fiscardo. Special Place….
We arrived to a very warm welcome and a free drink at the bar from Elena, the Hotel owner.
During our 5 day/5 star stay nothing was too much trouble for Elena, Angela and Dimitri.
Our room was magnificent with views across the bay. Spacious with its own balcony where you can enjoy a coffee (from then nespresso machine) before a splendid breakfast.
Plenty of sun beds, if you want them, but Emplisi beach is a 3 minute drive/20 minute walk and this is an unspoilt Greek beach. The water is crystal clear and warm. We swam before breakfast most mornings.
Dimitri runs a shuttle service three times a night to the Fiscardo marina with its truly brilliant range of restaurants by the waterfront. It’s my judgement but vastly superior to the restaurants in Argostoli, and only a few euros more, so forget the ‘expensive’ tag.
The waterfront is buzzing and can also be romantic. For me, I preferred it when the yachts were not so prolific, but they come and go!
But then back to the Almyra, and a night cap at the bar where you meet other guests if you so desire. We did and had a few ‘party nights’ with some newly found friends!

Perfect stay
This was our first visit to the Almyra Hotel. However, so many of the other guests are regular returning customers and I can totally understand why .
Whilst the hotel is immaculate it is was the wonderful welcome and level of service that we received that was so special and somewhat unusual these days .
We do hope that like so many others we to can return .

Wonderfull!
The Almyra (boutique) Hotel was everything we had hoped for; quiet, luxurious and beautifully looked after by the friendliest team who made us feel so at home. The view from our Executive Suite was stunning and our bed was so comfy - we're going to try to get a Serta matress for ourselves! There's air con in all the essential places and a lift if you need it. The buffet breakfast was generous with fruits, creme fraiche, cereals, breads, cakes, cooked mushrooms, eggs, tomatoes and meats. We also loved the hotel's lunches and fabulous 14m pool. The 15 minute walk to Fiscardo meant we could easily explore the waterfront shops and many restaurants for dinner. There was a minibus shuttle service for those who didn't fancy the walk there and back in the evening. The nearby beaches were just stunnjng - Emplisi beach for rock climbing (just below Emelisse hotel), tiny Kalimaki beach for snorkelling (next to Kimilia beach) where we saw an octopus, and Foki beach for cliff jumping and snorkelling. Then there's Fiscardo Kayaks with Alex and Fiscardo Divers with Cedric - my 17 and 21 year old sons did the two hour beginners' diving session and now they're hooked!
If you don't know where to begin the Almyra team can help you plan your week. We never got round to doing boat trips because we had the best beaches on our doorstep. Angela was so very helpful as well as owner Elina and her daughter, while husband Polychronis managed the nearby and renowned Tassia Restaurant with his sister Tassia - just the place if you're into people-watching, super yachts and good food! There's also the fabulous Panormos restaurant which I especially loved for its super tasty veggy dishes, terrific service and gorgeous black cat.
We very much hope to return next year!
