Quiet and comfortable

In 2019 I stayed at Freedom Hostel in Hue, catering to international backpackers. It was centrally located and the staff worked hard to create a great atmosphere. But covid killed the business, so the owner, Mr Long set up Lacasa Homestay, catering more to Vietnamese, in a different location. International guests are still welcomed.
Lacasa is convenient to the railway station and the An Dinh residence but more distant from Hue's other attractions. It is surrounded by local eateries and coffee shops. It is located in a cul-de-sac so it is quiet, and the atmosphere is low key. The facilities are good and clean. There are double rooms and dormitories.

very bad hostel, do not stay here

Horrible, evil staff. These are the kind of people who ask 'ok?' 'ok?' after things when they are talking to you. As someone who does not like to be talked to like that, and who has stayed in almost every similarly-priced hostel in Hue, I definitely recommend going to a different hostel. There are many wonderful, similarly-priced hostels in Hue with great staff and atmospheres.
I have noticed there are many awful people like these staff members working at companies and think they should not be supported. They are always miserable people with horrible unfriendly attitudes that ask 'ok?' 'ok?' after everything they say and drag their customers down into their miserable world with them. They should be removed from their jobs, or otherwise, their businesses should not be supported and no money should be given to them.
