Dirty awful and noisy

Awful dirty rooms!!!! We got put in a room that looks like a massacre had happened …. Blood all over the floor then got moved to a room that looked like someone had been sick on the floor! Luckily we were only stopping off for one night!
Footpath right outside our window that clearly is the highway for local homeless and druggies arguing! Didnt feel safe and had to have window shut all night in a heatwave!
Only plus was staff were nice

PCN received for valid stay at Exeter Travelodge m5

Room was fine and clean and in a convenient location .
The issue was I received a PCN ticket for my stay amounting to £100,due to the receptionist not inputting my Car details correctly. As the machine was facing away and behind the counter I couldn't check the details entered so relied on her to do it correctly which it wasn't and subsequently received a PCN. I contacted Travelodge directly to get them to contact groupnexus to cancel the ticket but they said they couldn't and so have to go through their appeal process to see if it can be cancelled.
It's not an ideal situation and a warning to other guests staying at the hotel

Dirty room and beds uncomfortable.

The room was extremely hot, making it very difficult to sleep, so we did not have a pleasant night's sleep. The beds were uncomfortable, there were visible marks and stains on the floor, and the room had a strange smell that made it feel unclean. My friend suffers from asthma and struggled to breathe because of the unusual smell in the room. We reported this to the reception staff, but were told they couldn't move us because the hotel was fully booked. Considering the price we paid for just one night, we expected a much better standard. Overall, the room felt dirty, the service did not resolve our concerns, and I would not stay here again or recommend this hotel to others.

My experience was amazing because of a lovely girl called Sophie. I arrived tired after a very long drive from the Lake District and she could have been more helpful. She even helped me order food because I live Overseas I found all the apps confusing. She really went beyond the call of duty and I was so grateful. It's not often someone is that kind especially when someone arrives tired and I'm sorry to admit a little bitgrumpy and then she bent over backwards to help. The room was very standed and ok but rather hot. I do think by now you would have worked out how to sound proof the rooms better as it was very noisy from people upstairs.
