This is an extremely well maintained property with spacious quarters and excellent kitchen amenities. The staff is very helpful and engaged. It is in an ideal location within a short walking distance to major museums, restaurants and pubs, grocery markets, and public transportation. The surrounding buildings and neighborhood are very charming and appealing for casual walks.

The staff at 130 Queen’s Gate was fantastic! We had a fairly serious bout of food poisoning during our stay and the front desk gentleman helped us so much! He connected us to a doctor who paid a visit to our room and helped us, but my daughter specifically, who required more attention, feel better quickly. The gentleman was so kind to help us and even brought a lemon to our room so we could add it to our water for hydration. He checked up on us the next day to make sure we were feeling better. He truly was an angel on Earth! We are so grateful. The room was nice, the kitchen was really great. The only complaint I have is that the coffee maker didn’t work and the kettle leaked. But the amazing staff more than compensated for those two minor issues. Truly kind people work there!!

Book at own risk!!

We booked and paid for a 2-bedroom apartment in January because we wanted to lock in the best price for our family holiday to London. The booking was confirmed, flights were booked, tours were arranged and we thought everything was sorted.
Then, 2 weeks before we fly, we received an email saying our confirmed booking could no longer be honoured because the apartment was sold out.
It’s now Saturday. We got that email on Wednesday, and we’ve spent the last 3 days doing little else but searching for somewhere else to stay. We still haven’t found anything comparable that we can actually afford.
We’re travelling from South Africa with 3 adults, including a pensioner, and a 10-year-old child. We can’t just squeeze into any hotel room. We need somewhere clean, safe and big enough for all of us.
The whole reason we booked 6 months in advance was to avoid exactly this situation. Instead, we’re now trying to find a suitable 2-bedroom apartment in London during peak summer when prices have skyrocketed and availability is almost non-existent.
The stress has been unbelievable. What should have been the exciting countdown to our holiday has turned into hours and hours of searching, comparing, worrying and wondering whether we’ll even find somewhere suitable before we fly. It honestly feels like this trip has been ruined before it’s even started.
What makes it even harder to accept is that even Trip.com acknowledged how difficult it is to find comparable accommodation. If a global travel company with access to far more accommodation providers than the average person can’t find a suitable replacement, what chance do ordinary travellers have?
A refund gives you your money back. It does not replace the opportunity you lost by booking early, and it certainly doesn’t compensate for the stress of having your accommodation pulled from under you at the last minute.
A confirmed booking should mean exactly that - confirmed.
If you’re booking an important trip, especially if you’re travelling internationally or with children or elderly family members, ask yourself one question:
How much trust do you have that your confirmed booking will still be there a couple of weeks before you travel?
After this experience, I wouldn’t take that risk again.

Excellent apartment hotel. Roomy, comfortable, GREAT A/C, which was needed since we happened to be in London during a heatwave!! We were in the 2 bedroom 1.5 bathroom apartment & the extra half bath was wonderful. Clothes washer/dryer combo did the usual great wash & mediocre dry, but having the machine there was incredibly useful since we were staying for one week and then traveling two more weeks. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful, we felt very safe with a doorman. Great location, in between two underground stations, in a beautiful Kensington area. We highly recommend this place and we would stay there again in a minute.

Well kept secret

This is one of London's best kept hotels. It is in the best location close to the museums the trains and the buses.
The apartments are large and spotlessly clean. They are tastefully furnished and are all different.
You have everything you need including a full kitchen and washing machine.
The staff are always at the reception desk and greet you with a smile.
Bedrooms have thick curtains and keep noise and light out.
