A very good quality for money for shirahama

The location was very good just very close to Ginza street. Staff was super helpful as they helped us to book two restaurants for two nights (we would not be able as website only in Japanese). Izakaya mon the second one super recommended. It was very spacious: having a main room, another bedroom, a big bath and showers, and bathroom with washing machine. Price was very very good. So totally recommended.

Hidden gem in Shirahama

We picked this hotel mostly due to its competitive price, but we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hotel. The room was unusually specious for a Japanese hotel, consisting of a bedroom, dining/TV room, kitchenette, very large bath and a laundry room. While there were only 2 beds, 4 people could sleep there by using futon mattress. We were expecting that the hotel's walls would be thin and noisy because of the small hotel size, but we didn't really hear any noise. There are plenty of restaurants around the hotel. We could walk to a gorgeous white sand beach in 10 minutes. On beach, there was an onsen where you can take a bath with a swimwear (at least during summer). When we had to check out late due to a sudden illness, the owner/manager kindly offered us a discounted rate for the overstay.
値段の安さでこのホテルに泊まりましたが、予想以上の質でとても良かった。とにかく部屋が広い。ベッドルームとダイニング・テレビルームがあった上に、トイレとは別のとても大きい風呂があった。キッチンと洗濯機があったので長期滞在も可能。ホテルの近辺にはレストランが山ほどあり、とても便利だった。急病のためチェックインを遅らせなければならなくなった時も、オーナーはとても親切に対応してくれた。今度は夏に長期滞在したい。

Great location and so helpful!

This apartment was excellent value compared to hotels in Shirahama. It was very spacious and a fantastic location, 5 minutes walk to the beach and shops and restaurant all around. Best of all the gentleman who ran the place was so friendly and helpful. He gave us a great deal of information about the area and was always available and happy to help. Thank you!

Friendly and helpful owner; Clean and spacious room. All for a very reasonable price!

It may not be as posh as luxury hotels but it's definitely a great deal for what we paid for. The owner is so kind! He handed out maps and showed where the tourist spots are. On our last day, he bought us coffee, bought us souvenirs (local sweets) and drove us around the city then to the train station! The room is neat and clean. Though it does not have a seaside view, the beach is just a 5-minute walk away. If you are on a budget, I really recommend this place. :)

Surprise package

This is a really lovely, clean, friendly hotel. We had a bit of trouble working out if we wanted to go to Shirahama but it was WELL worth it! The beach was fanastic as is the ocean onsen. This hotel seemed much cheaper than the others available but it was great. We didn't know what we were going to get because it was described as "run of house" but we got a large room with kitchenette. There is a great supermarket a few mins walk away to stock up. The manager was very friendly and helpful. It is a little walk to the beach - about 5mins and very easy. We loved our stay in Shirahama
