Quiet area

Wonderful welcome, free parking if reserved With the hotel website. Spacious rooms, good bed, decent cleanliness. Hotel in a quiet area close to the station but not too bothersome. On the other hand, a dilapidated hotel with the soundproofing that goes with it. Breakfast very good. Ideal for visiting the 5 lands

What a Great Find - Molto Bene!

Everything about the stay was great. The location was superb - a short 2-minute walk from the station, perfect for my day trips to the Cinque Terre, and a quick 5 minute walk to the beach. The room itself included a large en-suite, a tv, mini fridge, large wardrobe, air conditioning and a super comfy bed. I also had breakfast included and this (especially the regular cappuccino order I had each morning which they remembered!) was very nice - a good selection of breads, cakes, pastries and cold meats. All of the staff were very friendly and happy to help.

Wonderful little place to stay.

I've just come back from a 4 night stay here - I can't recommend it highly enough. It has everything I want....charm, good location to explore the region, lovely staff, good (cheap) breakfast, perfectly clean - I could go on.... I was in room 15 which was lovely - slight knack to the door key but hey - at least it wasn't electronic! Bonassola is a quiet place but perfect for exploring the area. The Pensione is roughly 1 minute from the railway station which connects the village to the rest of the Cinque Terre. It's also in the centre of the little village so you can get to the bars and restaurants without even thinking of getting in the car. There is a lovely area to park the car and the whole thing worked for me. And my 3 friends too. It's not the Ritz Carleton or the Four Seasons. Thank goodness for a real characterful hotel. Been in same family for ages.

Too many stairs

The property does not have an elevator, and if you are given a room on the top floor, there are too many stairs to climb. Nice but neglected environment. Noisy mini fridge. Good buffet breakfast. Helpful and kind staff.
Excellent for visiting the Cinque Terre as the station is only two minutes away.

Family run, friendly place, full of character

I stayed here in September as part of a group walking holiday. I Really liked the atmosphere in the place. My room was basic but everything worked and it was clean and comfortable. Very low key in terms of customer service but always someone around when needed. Quite basic at breakfast time. No lifts and plenty of stairs. Close to the railway station so quite a lot of noise from that, but this is kind of inescapable in Bonassola and anywhere in Cinque Terre. Walking distance to railway station, restaurants, bars and beach. Would recommend this place
