Hotel has performed admirably
The only unfortunate aspect was I left my AirPods behind when checking out (entirely my fault) and they subsequently went missing, but credit to the front of house team they were able to resolve the situation within 48 hours and kept me informed the whole time.

It genuinely means a lot to hear that you and your friends enjoyed your stay, especially after the difficult experience you had with Airbnb. I’m particularly pleased that our location, just a few minutes’ walk from ExCeL London and Custom House, made your convention visit so much easier and that you found the rooms comfortable, the check-in straightforward and the hotel peaceful.
I also wanted to personally thank you for your kind words regarding the AirPods. I remember dealing with this matter with you, and I completely understand how upsetting and frustrating it was to discover that they were missing after your departure. While we were very sorry about what had happened, I was glad that we could personally look into the situation, keep you updated and work towards resolving it as quickly as possible.
We take these matters very seriously, and it was important to me that you felt listened to and kept informed throughout the process. I’m therefore particularly grateful that, despite this unfortunate incident, you still took the time to recognise the efforts of our Front Office team.
Thank you again for choosing to stay with us and for your kind and understanding words. Great location with stunning views
The staff were pleasant throughout our stay, and our cleaning lady was absolutely lovely. We were in room 615 on Sunday — unfortunately, I didn’t catch her name, but please pass on our thanks to her.
There is also a lovely outdoor space (right next to the bar) with views across the Excel Marina and towards the O2 London, which I would highly recommend making use of.
We did, however, have a few small niggles during this stay:
1. Check-in/app: I didn’t particularly appreciate being required to sign up to a website/app during check-in. We had been travelling and were already tired and busy, and I feel that signing up to additional services should be optional for customers rather than something they are effectively required to do as part of checking in.
2. Executive room condition: We upgraded to an Executive room, so we were expecting a slightly higher standard. Unfortunately, there were a couple of knocks/damaged areas on the furniture and some stains on the floor, which was a little disappointing given the room category.
3. Room temperature: The room was incredibly hot, which made sleeping fairly difficult. The fan provided would only remain on for a few minutes before switching off, meaning it wasn’t really possible to keep the room comfortable overnight.
Overall, stay was OK and although we experienced a couple of issues, if you’re attending an event at the Excel London, I would still recommend for convenience.

We are delighted to hear that our location continues to be so convenient for your visits to ExCeL London, and that you enjoyed the views, transport connections and our outdoor space overlooking the marina and The O2.
It is lovely to hear that our team were pleasant throughout your stay, and especially that our housekeeping colleague who looked after room 615 made such a positive impression. We will certainly make sure your thanks are passed on to her.
We are, however, sorry that a few aspects of this stay did not meet the standard you expected, particularly as you had upgraded to an Executive room. Your comments regarding the condition of the furniture and flooring have been noted and will be followed up with our Housekeeping and Maintenance teams.
We also apologise for the discomfort caused by the room temperature. We understand how frustrating it must have been when trying to sleep, and we will review the operation of the fan and the room temperature to ensure we are doing everything possible to provide a comfortable environment for our guests.
Regarding the check-in process, we appreciate your feedback and understand that after travelling, guests want the process to be as straightforward and convenient as possible. We will review how this is communicated to ensure that any digital services or additional options are clearly explained and do not detract from the check-in experience.
Despite these issues, we are grateful that you would still recommend us to guests visiting ExCeL London. Your continued loyalty means a great deal to us, and we hope your next stay will be a much more seamless and comfortable experience from arrival to departure.

A reliable and well-managed venue for corporate meetings
The advance coordination with Rutvi and Halima was smooth, clear, and well organized throughout. On-site, both rooms were well equipped and met all our requirements. The IT support was efficient, approachable, and quick to resolve technical issues as they arose.

Perfect for family
The hotel is located very close to Custom House station, which enables you to get easily to downtown London in about 30-40 minutes only.
