More or less

The hotel is half-baked. It has positive points, but it has more negatives.
The location is excellent, next to the Eiffel Tower, and 200 m from a subway station. In addition, the neighborhood has many good things to do, with many supermarket and restaurant offers.
Breakfast is not even that expensive per person due to the wide variety it offers.
But there are very bad things.
You pay for a Mercure and stay practically in an Ibis.
Tiny rooms, slow elevators, and very grumpy staff.
The employees don't make the slightest point of being friendly and seem to be there out of obligation.
The room is as small as an Ibis and the bathroom is very small.
Breakfast closes at 10am and exactly at that time they close the doors and start removing the food, regardless of whether you are serving yourself or not.
See, however, that Paris is a very expensive city and this Mercure can offer interesting rates for the location.

Very near the Tower of Eiffel. Walk to tower within 5 mins. Near to the Metro station. A lot of restaurant nearby the hotel. You have a lof of choice. Also have supermarket within 10 mins walking time. The staff is helpful.

Location great .. hotel not so much

Hotel staff were very nice. I expected them to be rude based on comments I had seen after booking but they were very helpful. The rooms however were small and smelled like dog. This was down to the fact that it’s a pet friendly hotel which again I didn’t know until after I booked. It was in the description I myself overlooked it. The bathroom was quite small and the shower was in a bath but was very high and bit dangerous to be honest. Curtains had holes in them. To be honest the only thing that sold me on this hotel was the air conditioning in the heat and the fact it is on the doorstep of the Eiffel Tower. For the price we got it at I’m happy but had I paid more I would have been disappointed.

Perfect location

We stayed one night at the Mercure Paris Centre Tour Eiffel and had a pleasant stay.
We benefited from connecting rooms (2 adults and 2 children aged 12 and 6).
The rooms are pretty, clean, and well-maintained. They are rather small, but it remains comfortable for a short stay. We also appreciated the fact that the toilets were separate.
The big strong point of the hotel is obviously its location: it is located very close to the Eiffel Tower, which is really convenient for visiting Paris and enjoying the neighborhood.
The staff was also very kind and welcoming.
Negative points: the number of elevators is a bit limited compared to the size and the occupancy of the hotel. At peak hours, it can be quite complicated to go up or down, with sometimes a rather long wait.
The breakfast is okay, but remains quite plain and lacks variety.
Overall, a good experience for one night, thanks in particular to the location, the cleanliness of the rooms, and the staff's welcome. We would gladly return for a short stay in Paris.
