We enjoyed our stay at the Castle Hotel! Our boys loved the bunk beds in the Wizard Room. The unlimited play time with lego was also a hit! The breakfast was just okay. They had the usual breakfast items with a big selection but just didn't love it. The buffet dinner though was great! Plenty of choices and food was tasty. It was a great option for after a tiring day at the parks. I would definitely stay here again!

Expensive and not worth the price
**★★☆☆☆ – Beautiful hotel, but the service did not match the premium price**
We stayed at the LEGOLAND Castle Hotel as a family and chose this hotel because we expected a premium experience that matched the premium price. Unfortunately, our stay was overshadowed by several service failures.
The biggest issue was housekeeping. Our room was not cleaned during our stay. After reporting this to reception, we were assured it would be resolved, but the room was still not cleaned the following day. We also did not receive fresh towels despite asking multiple times. The hotel later admitted this was caused by a technical error that prevented our room from appearing on the housekeeping schedule. While mistakes can happen, the fact that the issue remained unresolved after several reports was very disappointing.
There were additional disappointments as well. The treasure hunt safe in our room, which our children were excited about, was empty. We also experienced confusion when trying to extend our stay, resulting in unnecessary time and disappointment.
To their credit, the staff apologized and gave our children three LEGO sets as a goodwill gesture, which we appreciated. However, after our stay the hotel informed us that no further compensation would be offered.
For us, the biggest disappointment is not that mistakes were made, but how they were handled. When you pay a premium rate, you expect premium service. Having a room that was never cleaned throughout the stay simply does not meet those expectations.
The hotel itself is beautiful, the theming is fantastic, and the location next to LEGOLAND is perfect for families. Our children loved the atmosphere. Unfortunately, the customer service experience did not live up to the reputation of the LEGOLAND brand.
Sadly, this experience will influence our decision about future visits, and it has made it difficult for us to recommend the hotel to friends and family with confidence.
I genuinely hope the hotel improves its service because the concept and location deserve much better than the experience we had.

such a unique and wonderful stay. So many small touches make it amazing. Its 100 feet away from the park super easy!

Nice theme hotel but with its flaws
We had high expectations for this hotel as we heard very good about it. If you look at how well they designed the hotel thematically, it is 5/5 and there were plenty of things for the children to occupy themselves with, but we got a very casual treatment directly at the reception when we arrived and got no help at all. This meant that we almost missed the additions we paid for (e.g. the child credit card). It would have been easy to avoid this.
The food leaves a lot to be desired. The breakfast was of lower quality than the hotels we usually stay in and then this is still a relatively expensive accommodation. The dinner buffet was ok but certainly not worth the price you pay.
An advantage of this accommodation is that you can enter the park 30 minutes before the regular opening so you can walk around in eg. miniland in peace and quiet or start queuing for the popular driving school etc.
To sum up, we were happy with our trip and our accommodation was ok, but we wish we loved it.

It was lack luster for the price and compared to the Legoland main hotel. That had real details whereas the castle hotel was just decals pasted on flat walls. I honestly hated it and was really disappointed. The kids liked it until we walked through the Legoland hotel and realized the difference.
